He’s not a silly man clearly but anyone with half a brain cell can see when a player isn’t putting in a shift. I was at Stoke Saturday and the lack of effort from Dykes was infuriating. If I could have reached over and poked him in the eye I would have. Doesn’t jump, doesn’t chase down, can’t pass, doesn’t bring others in, doesn’t bust a gut yet this silly bastard keeps picking him. Unreal. I was sad to see him go but it’s things like this that show me it’s absolutely the right thing. |

Just back. Had the arse bored off of me. Diabolical performance. First thirteen minutes of second half we were never in their half. Fair play to them. They deserved that win. They had pace and strength and passed the ball at speed to players moving. Unlike out stationary geriatrics. Miles better. Left at 1-3. I would only have stayed for the Lap of Dishonour had I been in possession of some rotten fruit and vegetables.
