Sorry but that was never a fucking penalty in a million years. Clear as day Freeman got the ball. If you think differently you need Specsavers. Ref should be fucking embarrassed. I'm old school Ginge, ball first then man is no foul for me but in modern game take both and refs give it every time. Shit for brains shouldn't even attempt it there. Mate theres no way Freeman took the man at all. I've got a photo I have no idea how to upload. If that was a penalty, we all may as well give up as football fans. Ridiculous decision. I saw that photo yesterday.
I watched on the red button and unfortunately you don't get replays but I thought that was never a pen in a million years. That just confirms what a joke of a decision that was. I wasn't in the least bothered when nine minutes went up as Derby hadn't looked like scoring all afternoon other than the save Lumley made onto the post.
To compound it Smith should have had a pen just before their second. It seems that until someone actually takes a hammer to his head in front of the ref he will never get one.

Fair enough Ginge, that still photo looks OK but part of game management - the stuff we don't do - is don't go to ground and come in from the side on a runner in the box. Ref was other side and it will look like he's taken him out. Linos don't help these days, they just do what the earpiece says. |

When managers start referring to ones they should have had in other games it is a pretty good sign.

Having now seen the hightlights from the match it looked like a penalty. He was in no contact with the ball,in my humble opinion..

Penalty or not there was no need to give that shit ref a chance to make an equally shif decision. Too many players who have no game awareness as shown by the amount of daft penalties we have given away this season.
