Nice one Corbs, glad it went well. The chat with Ramsey is an added coup. Look forward to hearing about that.

Dog shit collar. Why not a crew neck once every ten years? But I'm more likely to support Shitbag Sunak than I am to wear a replica shirt.

Poor kits, but I won't moan if the football's good.

I take that back and will moan a bit before a ball is even kicked. That away kit is extraordinarily awful. Bloody Barcelona in hoops, wtf is that all about. Never thought I'd live to see such a travesty.

It'll grow on people. Revolutionary type of material apparently. What's it gonna do? Morph into a kit that doesn't look shit over the course of a season? 😂

Away kit looks very similar to the one worn by the Cardinal Vaughan first 11. Brings back memories, probably why I like it so much.

the only thing i don`t like about the home kit is the pinstripe hoop around the main hoop , apart from that it looks fine to me . The away kit looks good , but i`d prefer it to be black and red ,but apparently they don`t sell as well . But in all honesty like i say every year ,i wouldn`t be seen dead in a football shirt unless i`m playing football , so i don`t really care !

7/10 home kit
9/10 away kit
8/10 training kit
All in all, decent effort this season.

sorry for the delay in getting this post up, got back quite late last night, had work this morning and then went to watch us draw 3-3 with the trialist 11 allstars. last night was a great bit of fun, especially as i was able to take my nephew to the kit launch and get some pictures with beale, ramsay and les ferdinand, even if my nephew didn't know who les was lol so thank you very much for the opportunity to go to it. i had a great chat with roy ledgester who couldn't be more talkative and engaging with me, he was more than eager to answer all of my questions and even let me record the audio for posterity reasons as my short term memory is absolute shite and there's no way i'd remember what he said otherwise. if anyone's sad enough to want the audio which does cover more about him, his business and his time supporting QPR then i'm more than happy to share! roy did end up covering most of the sponsorship process in his kit launch chat but i did manage to ask him some other questions. in regards to us having 3 years, the club wanted a long term kit sponsor so everything aligned perfectly. one thing he did say though is that IF we made it to the prem within 3 years then convivia would end up paying more money to the club as their exposure on our shirts would obviously increase dramatically, i guess that the reverse would happen should we get relegated lol. roy came across as very happy on both a business and on a personal level to be sponsoring the team, he said that convivia did have other sponsorship opportunities including at other clubs but roy always wanted to have his company on our shirt on the condition that ashville wasn't interested as he's good mates with the owner of last seasons sponsors. one bit of interesting side note is that andy impey is the godfather of his children. even more interesting however is that he's a lurker on WATRB and agreed that it is a place were chaos reigns. i did mention our forum but i don't think he seemed too interested, my guess is that he's secretly jamesnutt. handshake: 9/10. all round he was a really nice bloke, had massive passion for QPR and was living the dream by having his company on our shirt. i did manage to have a good chat with chris ramsay too about what goes into his role at the club. again, he let me record the audio but sadly it's a bit harder to hear than roy's chat so i can't say too much . he comes across as real gracious guy who's more than happy to heap praise on the other coaches involved. what he tries to instill in players and coaches is something he calls the "3 r's" which stands for "respect, responsibility and resilience". he said he's just as happy to develop someone through the age groups as he is picking someone elses "broken toy" (his words), fixing them up and getting them into the first team. it's not something he will get right everytime though as he did mention that the club have released player's who've made it at other clubs but have also picked up players that make it here. just one of those things. he wants the club to appeal to younger players along with players that have been discarded by other clubs and thinks that we're doing quite well in that regard and with the resources we have at our disposal, of which he did say that he is happy with what he has to utilize. he also said that he grew up as an arsenal fan but is obviously a QPR fan now lol. sadly i couldn't really hear too much in the audio so that's pretty much all i have to write up on my chat with ramsay, but i'll say that he did come across as dedicated and professional to his role and someone who constantly wants to improve player development. he seemed like a nice guy too and talked more than he needed to with me as at one point i stopped recording as i figured the chat was over but he said to carry on as he had more to say. handshake: 7/10. i didn't get to talk to anyone else really aside from saying hello to them when i asked for pictures. everyone gets swamped but tbh, we always hear from the likes of lee, les and the manager so i figured it'd be more interesting to talk to people who're less heard about in regards to them being interviewed. the main highlight of the night of course was the fact that there was free beer and food straight from M&S. all in all it was a really good evening and something that my 14 year old nephew said he'd never forget. cheers again for letting me go!
