In all seriousness, the entire squad - Dykes included - get a complete clean slate with this coach as far as I'm concerned.

There are one or two like Kakay and Niko that I'm pretty sure aren't gonna make it further than back up players. But the likes of Dykes, Bonne and Shodipo need a chance to impress in the new system for me.

haven't watched the full game yet but seen the highlights. how did armstrong look in his 45 minutes? from the highlights he looked a very good player who was a cut above the wealdstone players.

Too right. The most worrying thing about pre-season is seeing Niko anywhere near the 1st team.

Plus if he is on a four year contract and no one wants him, not a lot we can do. With limited budget we probably have to focus on getting first team players first - right back and striker. With our limited budgets maybe this is just one of those positions we have to take a chance on and hope Paal works out and doesn't get injured. Like others have said I thought Odobajo was a very useful player with his versatility but maybe a combo of wages and age meant we couldn't keep him.
