Captain Leistner eyeing positive end in W12 by: George Jones, 26th April 2019 www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/captain-leistner-eyeing-positive-end-in-w12/ CAPTAIN Toni Leistner wants QPR to end 2018/19 positively. Rangers host Nottingham Forest at Loftus Road on Saturday, in what is their final home match of the season. And the skipper – who has missed the last two games through illness – says that he and his teammates want to give R’s fans a victory to celebrate. “Hopefully we will show a good last game at Loftus Road, so that we can celebrate together after the game,” the German told qpr.co.uk. “It would be a good feeling to end the season at home with a win. It would put everyone in a good mood before the new season.” After missing the Easter weekend games against Blackburn Rovers and Derby County, Leistner is looking forward to being back on the pitch. He said: “I felt very ill last week but now I feel fit and I hope that I can help the team in our last two games. The manager will pick the team for Saturday and I hope that I will be in it.” When Rangers faced Nottingham Forest earlier this season, they made history by becoming the first ever R’s team to win at the City Ground. Leistner has fond memories of that game. He said: “I scored the winning goal and we wrote history on that day. It was nice to celebrate with the fans after the game. Saturday is another game, it will be totally different and we want to get another win.”

Enjoy the game if you can guys.
Fortunately, my mum becoming 90 has given me a reasonable excuse to miss the lap of appreciation. I’ll have to watch hers instead. 😂

A rare matchday where I'll be on the sauce. I rarely drink nowadays but as it's the final home game, fuck it. Might need it as I reckon it's another defeat with a whimper on the cards.

Just read Clive's preview. The season stats combined with those from the past few years are almost too horrific to consider. Lose on Saturday and that's 23 losses for the season, something we've only done 5 times in our history. Three of those seasons are from the last 5!

Sad state of affairs Westy that the majority feel that way. I would suggest the club and fans are as far apart as under Flavio as chairman.

Being so shit takes its toll. I'll renew, but have little enthusiasm. A shit season without the likes of Freeman can only be shittier....

77 I have not renewed my 3 tickets as do not see any plan or future with this mob in charge. Always be my club and been going since my old man took me in the late 70's so done my time but the way we have been run these last four or five years especially have knocked the shite out of me.

Three/four awful seasons on the trot starting to take its toll now
Shit manager after shit manager, rudderless at the top, absent owners which lead to knee jerk reactions and decisions, steadily decreasing quality of players coming into the club, massively disengaged and divided fan base
Exciting times to be a QPR fan

Westy. Where is the plan? Whatever Flavio and Bernie were or were not they had a goal to get promotion and sell which they somehow managed in 4 years. This lot have no idea at all and that goes for the lot of them. Why under those guys did we end up with a huge shirt deal with Gulf Air and all the other sponsors and under our current brigade we have Royal Panda!

Royal Panda and Ashville Aggregates and Ashville Concrete...... At least Sellotape held us together. Concrete is in the players' boots.

A good first half from us. Lumley had a great save which could have given them a goal. Hemed, Manning and BOS the stand outs for me so far, imo. Oh, and we should have had a penalty....

Don't know what Walker has done to deserve that starting spot, but he's poor.

Don't know what Walker has done to deserve that starting spot, but he's poor. Getting picked cos we loaned out 2 better players in his position I'd assume mate. Ain't watching today, mates birthday. Doesn't sound like I'm missing much.
