From the "Rules that would improve the game" thread: Think they should just scrap the January windows personally. It's not fit for purpose for those reasons and makes it almost impossible to get your business done early. So it ends up becoming a 2 day (mad scramble) instead of a 31 day window. And as usual it only ends up benefiting the richer clubs. Warnock built his QPR side, got us promoted and was able to use the Jan window wisely in the process but - whilst we're on the subject of inane regulations - that was before the ill thought out FFP came in - another one that, in effect, only seems to benefit the wealthier clubs and increases the divide yet further. |

Trust me the board are working on trying to get someone in a forward will be coming in thats all you need to know. Dykes being in hospital hasnt helped the situation either by the way. Talks are in progress getting Dembele from Bournemouth and were after 1 more (midfielder) 2 possibles coming in....were still after Matt Smith but theres other intrested parties Dykes isnt going now as the situation of him being injured has got in the way.....cant blame the board for that one simples  |
