I fully agree with him. We complain just as much when the shoe's on the other foot. I've said for a long time they need to just add the time on to the end of the 90, even if it's an extra 20 minutes or so. That would soon cut the timewasting out. He also makes an excellent point that it's unfair on the paying fans as they're being short-changed on a product they've paid hard-earned money for.

I'd go with the rugby way. Any time there's a stoppage, stop the stadium clock, and blow up when it gets to 90 mins. This can be at the refs discretion to say time off, for a stoppage, and then time on when play resumes. This way it is very transparent as to how is long left, and would negate time wasting

Some of our games are a dire watch and I’m itching to leave before 90mins. I’m not sure I could cope with another 20mins on top

Said this for ages90 minute game, lucky if you see half of that with ball in play. Imo ball should be in play minimum 35 minutes each half, besides being more value for money it would stop time wasting. Also think there is scope for sin bins as in rugby,it makes sense someone not retreating at free kick yellow card, yet someone making a late bad tackle yellow card, there has to be a difference between the two offences. Imo the first offence described above a yellow, the second offence described above yellow and 10 minute sin bin which if stradles both halfs so be it. The officials are all wired up so what is the problem. The problem is the FA,UEFA and FIFA and some refs who think the crowd is there to watch them. There are other situations that need to be looked at like professional foul high up the pitch that should be yellow and sin bin imo. Rant over

I think sin bins should be introduced too or at least trialled

Heckingbottom is a bad loser, he needs to fire his shooting practice coach.
It’s not Seny’’s fault he had to take 19 goal kicks during the game, the fault lies with their strikers missing the target from 20 shots registered.MB spoke about having more control of matches recently.
Most new rule changes are normally introduced by FIFA during the next World Cup finals, maybe allowing physio’s to come on whilst play continues for obvious time wasting fake injuries.

Yes agree another rugby rule. Football authorities need to wake up.
