Not convinced Leicester will have much money to spend. Their wages will be huge without relegation clauses. Chir there seems to fit. As others have said, he isn't good enough for the Prem but I imagine he will perform better in a better team. Players making better runs, better finishers etc. Importantly, he has the work ethic to make it work as well. they have loads of players out of contract though which will free up wages plus a few saleable assets who look dead cert to leave. players like maddison, barnes, justin and kelechi would probably bring in close to 60-80m for the 4 of them alone

I don't doubt that they'll have money coming in, but what's the drop in revenue? 160m?
Plus the likes of Vardy, Vestergard, Peirera and others are on serious wages.
I know that this isnt 100% reliable but these are some wages:
Jamie Vardy £140,000 James Maddison £110,000 Ryan Bertrand £80,000 Kelechi Iheanacho £80,000 Ricardo Pereira £80,000 Boubakary Soumaré £80,000 Patson Daka £75,000 Onyinye Ndidi £75,000 Dennis Praet £75,000 Jannik Vestergaard £70,000 Timothy Castagne £65,000 Wout Faes £50,000 Marc Albrighton £45,000
Just those are over £53m a year in salary.

We said that about willock. He will probably walk away for less than a million if we are lucky. We aren’t in a position to turn down that sort of money sadly and nor should we

Only worry I have is giving Les money to waste No chance the bulk of that money will go towards players - it will be to reduce the FFP deficit with the Eze money falling out of the three year cycle

Wouldn’t claim to be an accountant mate and probably better brains than me on here but there is a v gd thread on loft for words that goes into it all in far more detail than I can manage when just back from the pub but my take away from it was that we are either fucked or v fucked

Its not FFP that threatens to put this club out of business it’s the repeated poor decision making of the owners.

Agree about the mismanagement that got us to this place but even with the best management in the world taking over tomorrow there would still be huge FFP constraints. Under no circumstances could we buy our way out of the shit we are in. What good management could possibly do is take advantage of the huge number of high quality free transfers there are likely to be this summer but we have Les and Gareth who have about as much of a clue as the Chuckle Brothers

I totally agree with your point on free transfers for nearly every club bar the parachute brigade.

To be fair, in the interview he doesn't come across like a guy with his eye on a move.
I'm far less doom and gloom than most on here. I think we will have a work ethic and team spirit about us that will win games.
Of course, the squad is worryingly bare and that needs solving before the window closes. I also don't think the style of play is likely to be to everyone's tastes based on what we saw last season and the types of players we are signing. All that being said I genuinely don't think we'll be in a relegation battle this coming season.
