Precisely. Pre internet we didn’t know a tenth of what we know now about the club. A well run club isn’t necessarily an open soap opera where all the dirty laundry is put on display. Get much more enjoyment following a successful club than an open, naive one agreed. as long as the board have our best interests in mind and take this club as far as they can while giving us some great moments along the way i don't care what they say in the media. some transparancy for sure like their vision and aims but i'm never gunna expect us to win the prem or compete for champions league spots. if in my lifetime we can eventually be like we were in the 80s and into the 90s i'll be very happy. produce some great players, a couple of cup runs and a couple of dips into europe would be a dream come true. what i do find most sad about my fleeting time supporting QPR though is we've never had any real legends in the 20+ years i've followed us. no 10 year stint, no 400+ appearences etc. a couple of cult heroes and great players like taarabt and eze but thats it really lol. Will we ever have a true legend again Corbs? If we bring another Francis through we’ll sell him. We’re a different club in a different game now.

We’re a different club in a different game now. maybe one day we will. lots of clubs all over the EFL have players that spent years with them. chair for example has been with us for 6 years and played nearly 250 games for us. if he's somehow still here in ten years time then he'd certainly be considered a club legend
