I'd cancel night games to save on electicity Just light the pitch half our keeper in, as we don’t bother the other end,

I would love to go and confront them on a number of issues. Ask direct questions and not accept any bullshit.
Sadly I would probably be thrown out.
They just messing with the club and fans if truth be known.
Sixty years and thinking what's the point !!!!

Entertaining post Stainrod But why so bleak? Since Warbs, I feel we have been (generally) on the up. Wage bill down, finances looking better, more entertaining football, gradual improvement on league position. The flurry of excitement over Beale's start to this season seems to have gone to some fans' heads and suddenly we were among the play-off (or even promotion) favourites... As Kipling says (when he's not commenting about exceedingly good cakes): If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same...

No disrespect Loftus but we are pissed off being A mid table average championship side going no where fast We have higher ambition for the club than that We were a top club no where near that now Yes the club is going in the right direction But no where near top six squad Every year its the same for over 8 yrs no change

I understand Bills frustration and feel tge same
He wants us to be somethink like we where
But there is no chance of that at the moment
We are top 10 this year again and again and again
I share his disappointment

You impatient bugger Bill Progress has been slow and incremental, but progress all the same. Having suffered the biggest footballing fine EVER for FFP failings, I’m frankly just happy to still have a club. That we’re a top-half side with a credible chance of a play off place is icing on the cake. Fulham and Brentford are given by way of comparison. What about other sides who have been in the Prem or Champ in relatively recent history? Bolton, Portsmouth, Derby, Charlton, Wednesday, Ipswich… want to swap places with any of them? There’s no entitlement to survival financially, still less to success on the pitch. We’re doing OK.

Understand that the club is being run finacially better
And that we cannot behave like before but
We are just drifting every year that goes by
None of us are getting any younger

finances looking better, more entertaining football, gradual improvement on league position. not sure about any of that since they claim to be loosing >1m per month. It's all about perception. The point Stains was making in the OP was that we've been overtaken by many of our neighbours. That seems unarguable. Bolton etc are not our neighbours, and we've had far more investment than they have since Uncle rowed in. But in the end, what we have we actually got show for it? Mediocrity, at best.

On the up? We have 1 so called first team striker in our squad...... 1!!! Half the first team places are filled with loans. We couldn't score a gram if we were in the middle of Columbia. Half our squad are always injured. We have not got a pot to piss in to invest in playing squad but we have an army of Directors on half million pounds per year. CEO, DOF, TECHENICAL DIRECTOR, AMMBASSADOR, All thats missing is the director of tea ladies, yet, we only have 1 striker and he is fucking turd. but if you think we are a club on the up, good on you mate.
