My comments about cup exit on few threads are more directed at the suggestion part of the reason for going out was because Critchley dont have the personality to motivate.
Well I remember two of our favourite managers with possibly biggest personalities seen in club as managers getting bounced out in first and third round against lower league opposition. Holloway failed against Vauxhall Motors and Warnock had 210mins against MKDons and lost over two games. What were the excuses then?
If we’re blaming managers personality as reason then that’s just bollocks and burying our head in sand.

Fact is we got bent over by Fleetwood, that's not good enough . Players putting in half hearted performances is not good enough . We need players that give 100% in every game regardless of the competition

Not saying some of the performances of late are OK. Only that there being some suggestion players need to be financially penalised and/or fans need to be compensated are ludicrous. |
