I’ve just booked a week in Greece start of June for less than I paid for Tenerife this March You seem to spend more time lying on your back than Luke Amos

This thread restores faith in humanity, like a sunny oasis in these gloomy down-trodden times.

Been racking my brains for the past two weeks, wondering who Crictchly sounds like. Then, just now, it finally dawned on me........................... Neil Critchley is........................ Here, Neil is being interviewed for the very first time back in 1985

Good effort mate.
Wish I could say I found it so easy.
Annoyingly tho must admit the one night I have drunk this month I felt so much worse the next day. I'm not quite as senior as Wycombe (who is?) but hangovers definitely hitting me harder these days.

Went to Specsavers late November. (What do you mean, you've been telling me to go there for ages?). They tested my eyes and told me I needed glasses. I said I don't, and that on the few occasions that I've worn reading glasses for any length of time, my eyesight seems to deteriorate after a bit. If I stop wearing them, it seems to improve again. That's impossible, the optician says. Well I'm telling you that's what happens, I said. So you're telling me I studied optometry for four years for nothing? the optician says. A real narky bird. Young. No, I said, I'm just telling you what I've experienced. Well you need varifocals, she says and hands me the prescription. I get ushered to the sales girl, who gets me to try on loads of frames and gives me all the gen about the best varifocals etc. etc. The only frames I liked were expensive and even on the 2-for-1 deal I end up splashing out over £400 quid. Take em home and I keep thinking, well this is odd, I'm sure I can see better without them. Anyway, this is in the positivity thread, because I took them back on Monday and got me money back! Happy days!
