Feels Horrible to mug him off this early with us but lets be honest if your a player and you have him in the dressing room is he the kind of fella that will inspire you? i think i would rather be shipped out on loan to a non league club than play for him what a dull boy thats been one of my main issues with him since day 1. he has absolutely no charisma or any backbone to get the players around to his way of thinking imo. managers are by tradition quite quick thinking, they have to be as they have 30+ players to juggle and need to be able to get their management style across to various personalities. its all well and good for NC to be vocal on the touchline but what good is it doing? the frustrating thing is we gave him a 3 and a half year deal and i suspect that the board would be content with staying up on goal difference this year. they know that sacking him would make them look like the biggest retards in the division so they'll keep spinning it as "part of the plan". we needed someone to galvanise the squad and in hindsight it should have been someone like ainsworth. sure his style isn't the prettiest but his teams are always full of confidence and highly motivated. some people are cut out to be backroom staff, others front of house. Allan Harris was a good coach under Venners but that was what he was best at. Got a horrible feeling Critchely is one of those people who have been over promoted and would have been better off sticking at what he is good at. |

But he has been dealt a woeful hand and these players are the major issue. |

just dont understand why Beale or MW didnt bring in competition for Dykes up front made no sense going into this season with the squad Beale did
we all saw it wasnt ready for the whole campaign even when we were top of the league i knew the squad wasnt in right shape
who on earth brings in Tyler Roberts as a striker?

Problem is they can go through the motions and still get their fat wage packets.
Watch Millwall next week they will beat us on effort , pick up most of the 2nd balls and chase us for 90 mins .

I just watched the four year plan again and even under Tango and Cash it was being said just like now “the players don’t care enough”. Strangely enough it was decided that a strong manager was required.
Keep your eyes peeled for Harry Wax Face, he must have got whiff of pound notes.

They are def not responding to Critchley are they This is my worry. I've openly said he can't be judged right now as he's been left a depleted squad who's heads are gone after the eel bailed out so it wouldn't be fair BUT I have also said my worry is he comes across as boring as dish water and I genuinely think that is an issue. Players need to be motivated, they need to be fired up and this fella comes across like he'd put a glass eye to sleep. He has assistants and coaches so hopefully they're a bit more lively and can get into the players heads a bit and he might just be the tactician who knows? I think what we're seeing right now will continue until the end of the season. We look a shell of the side that was top of the league. |
