The sad thing is how predictable this car crash was - many of us were stagered by the appointment. After the fans meeting, I reported back to you guys that I sensed very little confidence in him from the board. Which begs the question as to why they made the appointment in the first place.
Sooner or later, just on the law of averages they have to get one of them right. Don't they? He was the cheapest option? Relegation would be a very expensive option. You can't keep running on empty. Not sure I'm buying the FFP argument on this either: by cutting back on our excessive off field expenditure (vs our competitors) we could help defray any settlement costs. |

I know a lot has been said about the way he dresses, especially at matches. I honestly believe he should have to wear at least a track suit without the cowboy boots when representing the club and the owners should insist on this. Maybe, just maybe it would be enough to make him reconsider his position.

Maybe I’m looking too deep into it but that’s the way I see it.
Also, ain’t there a brain cell in his head that thinks maybe I should change things up a bit (his clobber) and try and break this cycle?

I agree with what you're saying about it wouldn't matter if he was successful and I think it was you who made the comparison to Guadiola. However, it's been used as a stick to beat him with BEFORE he even took the job and he should have had the common sense to address it when he came in so he would be taken more seriously. |

Agree. Got away with it at Wycombe but we aren’t Wycombe. Just makes us look unprofessional. Get that he wants to be himself but he needs to realise it’s important to look the part. If he was dressing like that and managed like Alex Ferguson I’d still have the same opinion although lots wouldn’t care. It’s obviously amplified because the way he sets the team up is as dishevelled as his appearance
