When it was revealed that Wigan players and staff hadn’t been payed and refused to train their salaries were immediately payed by the owner on the same day.
I maintain Wigan are the best team I’ve watched out of all the relegation threatened candidates.
Not to get beaten would be a good result.

Mate: you are probably earning 20 bags a week. In your heyday you were probably on 80 bags a week. And half that time you were pissed and incapable of doing your job properly. You have had to wait two weeks for your wages. What have you had to do meanwhile? Go to a food bank? Cut the heating off? Put your WAG on the game? Obvs Wigan are legally obliged to pay and lets hope the situation is still upsetting the poor oppressed workers come next Saturday. But could see a great reality tv show where Caulker is sent out to an occupied bit of Ukraine or some fun little trouble spot in Africa to give him a little refresher course on what oppression is really like. |
