So you go out get the man with the know how, experience and savy to do it. Then u get noddy in on a stupid lengthy deal. These idiots must love spunking their wealth. As much as i love Rangers theres more to life
We cannot control anything so let destiny happen
Maybe we are a Div 1 club been there before
We were all pretty happy in those days too
Better things in life now that you can control
Family
Fishing
Muff diving
Despersdos
Travelling
Just to name a few let Les and his team
Run there course and then leave like all
Bad smells eventually do in the end
Div 1 aint so bad not were we should be
But your time is better soent doing the
Things that a really important in life
Especially now that everyone is dropping

That used to apply whether you were settled or not a club. Whether you were a loanee or not. None of those things used to matter to players. It's just called being "a professional" in which you would always give 100% irrespective of your personal circumstances.

As you know Alan, back in the day it was commonplace for a player to stay at one or two clubs his entire career. Clubs would still be ruthless if they wanted to sell you or not renew a contract. The pendulum has swung towards player power in recent times though with all the money and agents that flooded into the sport. |
