We have hit the bottom it seems, Smyth incoming We have now gone through the bottom by extending the donkeys contract. Only at qpr, worst striker in our history, “here, have another 3 year contract” Wow we are quick to forget Steve Slade (6 in 69), Washington (13 in 92), Keane (0 in 10), Youssouf (0 in 6), Sturridge ( 0 in 11) as a few examples. Dykes has already got 29 in 114. No way near our worst striker in QPR history. |

How did we manage to only get 1m for Dickie?
Not saying he's genuinely worth much more, but there was certainly a period where his stock was far higher and he would have fetched 3 or 4 times that at least!

Because I imagine his agent put it about he wanted out, they let it know to club he not signing again. Club said fine we sell, and City had us over a barrel and knew they could get him for around that

Should have tried harder to sell him earlier, after that spell when he scored all those goals. We could all see he didn't have the pace to operate at a higher level, but there was a period where his stats flattered to decieve a bit.
