For me Eze needs to either start or not be involved at all as he struggles to get up to speed in games off the bench where as when he starts he is involved in the game from the off. He is a very talented young player with a hell of a lot to learn especially when we do not have the ball but we also need to remember it is his full season in this division so mistakes or lack of game management is to be expected.

Tell ya what of all the drama we have had this season, last night felt like the biggest kick in the Jacobs. I was gutted when their winner went in, properly gutted. Personally thought (bar the opening 20mins or so which was absolutely awful) we played pretty well, had a couple of very good patches and missed some good chances (namely Wells stopping to check if he was offside in the 2nd half ffs!). The Freeman injury killed us, meant to literally sat back in our own box and invited WBA onto us. I thought Lumley, Tony and Pav were superb, and also thought both Eze & Bright were positive when they came on. The criticism Eze is seemingly getting from a few clowns in our superb blows my mind. Not for 1 minute suggesting he is beyond criticism and he has been off form for a while, but as an example some helmet sat in front of me last night (in case it is anybody on here, roughly block R row N seat 36/37 haha) screamed at him for being a lazy so & so every single time the ball went near him. The best bit was when Hemed farked up a short 5 yard pass towards Eze (not sure anybody else recalls it) and he screamed 'ffs Eze sort it out!' which was greeted by about 4 of us telling him to shut up if he is going to talk nonsense. Whilst we have had some rotten luck, 6 defeats on the bounce is woeful and with our next 2 fixtures I genuinely am concerned we could be going into the Brentford game off the back of 8 straight defeats...... Great post Matty. Yes it was really gutting that especially after we missed a couple of really good chances to win it. By the way, you must be quite near me as I am in R Block Row M. I had 'happy birthday' sung to me last night after my mate got it put up on the board. His son is 18 today so he told them about me as well. The b##stard didn't have to tell them I was 55 though!

Nothing wrong with being 55 CCJ. You get all sorts of bonuses, like the NHS offering free bowel screening. 😂
I’m in Row R of R block. Try to be as supportive as I can, but Lynch tipped me over the edge last night.😡
77 is in there too, very nice chap. Westy and Alan a bit further along.
Happy Birthday though mate. When is/was it? If people put their DOB’s in the system, we can brighten up their big day.

It is today mate. Free bowel scanning eh - what's not to like. I have been in R Block for a good few years now having moved from X Block after my friend got involved in a punch up over Bobby Zamora would you believe! I really like it there and there are some great people around where I sit in Row M right at the end of the stand in seat 1

Happy belated birthday CCJ. Alll we need to celebrate now is a win to get this forum properly up and running. A day late as well here, but happy birthday nevertheless CCJ. 🍺 Think we controlled the game against Boro pretty well last time, and without Rangel and Cameron as well, so we may have a chance Stan.
