Thats surely a pen why would Armstrong go down there open goal if he’s past keeper Ref is shocking Should have been a red for the keeper too Had we scored game would be 1-2 and a very different complexion. Not making excuses but this ref is an absolute joke. |

Had the ball a lot in the first half with fuck all threat bar one header. Coventry looked terrible. I thought finally today is the day we’ll get a win as they’re that poor.
No. Second half Robins changes things for them and they roll us over without breaking sweat.
Sorry to say but this is a very low point. Bottom 3 now.

Thought we were decent first half but they tweaked it half time and came right back into the game.
Ainsworth is honest manager but he don’t seem to be able to get anything going in attack. Rarely look like scoring.
Smyth works hard but it’s kind of pointless having a winger who does not have a cross in his armoury.
It’s going be a long old season.

Fairly good first half.
Ref was poor.
Robins changes things half time and we suddenky look poor except for one break by Smythe who shot over tbe bar,instead of cutting it back,was 0-0 then.
Ainsworth doesnt respond to Coventry's new tactics and we get overrun.
Consolation goal at end but things need to change now not 10 games in.
Must play 2 up top to show intent especially at home.
No changes will result in tears come May,dont think Gareth is up to the task,also the calibre of player brought in is questionable and some from last season are shall not as committed as they should be.
Willock,Salter always injured,Dykes turns up now and then,Richards who knows,Dozzel been better but still lacking.
We know ffp is a major factor but unless we become more compact,more tactically aware and get every player on board its going to be a very tough season.
One saving grace is there might be 3 worse teams than us.

Was actually quite happy at HT thought we were playing some pretty good football, just totally toothless in attack (although Dykes had a great header superbly saved by their keeper tbf). Second half we were gash, Coventry are not a good side at all but they punished us being sloppy. Our inability to score a goal is actually criminal. |

This board changes so violently so quickly - last week it was largely praise.
I was never on board with the appointment as it was so obviously short termist and Gareth is clearly tactically weak but in his defence we all knew going into this season even if we had Pep as manager we wd have days like these. Agree home form a massive worry but if anything we are a bit better so far this season than I was expecting. We are limited and one of the favourites to go down for a reason - result shouldn’t be a massive surprise.
