QPR chief executive Lee Hoos said: “Making a call such as this is never easy, and it is even more difficult when you have such respect on both a personal and professional level for the individuals concerned – which we all do for Gareth and Richard. “Many supporters have told me in recent months that they have never wanted someone to succeed more than Gareth, which is an indication of the fondness everyone associated with QPR has for him. “Unfortunately, results this season haven’t gone the way we all wanted and we feel a change is necessary. “Gareth has been a pleasure to work with from the moment he arrived and I am truly sorry this has not worked out as we all had hoped. “On behalf of the board, I wholeheartedly thank Gareth for his commitment, desire, passion and professionalism. We all have the utmost respect for him, and he will always be welcome here. “We understand the importance of appointing a new head coach quickly and an announcement on this will follow in the coming days.” Another one that needs jibbing on. Absolutely agree, 100%

The scary thing is with no DOF, he is literally the football decision maker along with the arseholes running the club.

give it to eustace imo. knows most of the players and did well at birmingham, even if we do get relegated we'd be in safe hands imo.
gaz needed to go though. i'm gutted for him that it didn't work out, normally i'm happy when a manager is finally sacked but its different with gaz as he was one of my childhood heroes.

FFS! We were never going to get anything out of this game so why wait until another week has gone? A new man might have got us a point today, certainly had nothing to lose. So are they saying he would have stayed if we’d won today? Madness. Let’s hope they get this one right. Right for me is keeping us up and sorting out a few potentials for next summer, EARLY, if it’s a temporary fix.

This appointment is prob the most important in the clubs history for last 15 years
Get it wrong and we are fucked Get it right and we will be mid table then build from there
We need a prover championship manager with pedigree
If they go aDiv 1 I’m done with the whole club

Ding dong, thank God he's gone. But why the fuck did they draw it out for so long? It was obvious he was shite last season. And I mean proper shite. From the Haka to the final game of the season. Eventually I hope I can forget just how shockingly bad he was and try to remember the player I really liked. It was prolonged because of FFP and made possible by the naming rights.

Better to have a new manager against Rotherham where he has a better chance to get a good start and lift the spirit.

Its a bit of a coincidence that my source was tweeting shit about Ainsworth today, Warnock looks a real possibility after all.

If I had a choice it would be Warborton just because the football is so good to watch
His 4-3-3 destroyed some teams last time for about 10 games

Prefer Warnock for the inspiration he can provide - and our lot need. If Warburton gets his boring, dour head on we’ll stay in trouble.
