JCS. Hayden. Colback.
Take all three of them away and we're absolutely fucked.
We all know about Colback's issues but without him mf is like water.

Snippy in the post match interview. He seriously needs to be, what's the word, oh yeah. Humble.

Shit though a lot of the recruitment has been you can't blame our terrible start to the season entirely on that. Hayden the only player we really miss from last season. Injuries probably had as big an impact on results to date, though buying a load of players without the bollocks for the Championship will come back to bite us. Still doesn't explain why Marti has completely failed to motivate and organise the team this season. Last season there were players who looked like they would die for the cause (or at least take a knee injury for it). Not this season. The defence is largely unchanged yet we are leaking like a sieve. We miss JCS obviously. But can the difference all be down to him and not having Hayden as a shield? Or is Marti failing to do something this season he was doing last season? Sensible post this team is not that different Why no passion from the team Its a motivation thing Has he fucked them off in some way

The main thing Marti is failing to do is win
They look like 12 Bambis on ice
There is no steel
Go get Vinnie jones back and Rasor Ruddock

Marti needs to go back to basics with this set of players.

I think with Ainsworth I knew he wasn’t the right guy. With Marti, I genuinely thought he could take us to great things. No chance. I think we should just stick together but for me, I’ve got little hope in him turning it round now.

We are simply shit.

People are already calling for his head
I hope he can turn it around as i like him
He does deserve a bit longer imho
But the club is bigger than the manager
Players are shit and letting him down
Will we ever get it right im not sure we will
Been going on for years now

He needs to be as tough in public as Steve Cook is.

You buy 10 odd players with 0 championship experience and this is what you get. You need experience of this league and he bought none of that. Proving to be a massive error from him and the club jointly. nail fucking head

I think there is/was element of arrogance about this squad. They finished last season well they went into this season being bigged up and think they have started to believe the hype and that it will be easy.
Start of season has been tough and it’s caught them out and they look like rabbits in the headlights thinking whats going on this was not the plan.
Luton in hindsight probably embedded that arrogance as we beat one of the favourites away after being behind and the away end after if like we’ve won the league even though performances had been lacklustre.
It can change quickly in the championship Cardiff are example of this awful results then three undefeated and put five past Plymouth.

Have to be honest, I’d have sacked a manage every 2 games based on my initial reactions to defeats. Wouldn’t mind the Aberdeen boss though 😂

Gotta admit I was scouring the coaches available list on transfer market 5pm yesterday…. there is the smal matter of him inexplicably being handed in new contract When the wheels were already coming off. I’d give him three more games to see if he can improve this mob.

I think the fans think we are a bigger and better club than we actually are now due to our history The fans are so loyal yesterday was a sell out even though we are playing shit The fans deserve so much more they really do Its not cheap to go to matches anymore either Easy 100 - 200 pounds for families with kids and travel
I think its the ownership if im honest as its now been going on for over 10 years yes I know we would not exist without them but we are bottom of the league yet again it’s either a curse or the ownership

I was also doing this last night but don’t want to change managers again Didn’t seem many available to be honest In the championship you have to play a side in a Warnock mold old hard pros with a bit of fluff on the wings We will not survive playing the way we do atm With the type of players we have signed

Posters were describing our poor performance as a “blip” and were saying we just need to calm down.
Is that still the view?
Am not digging out individual posters or joining the anti-Marti clamour.
Just wondering after 10 league games if people still think the table is lying?

I think the squad balance and assembly has been so bad I’m now challenging my thoughts regards how season will go.
My fear is I look at this squad and can’t see how you can effectively change anything that will make a difference hence why I think we have to creep through to Jan and sort it out then.
Really annoyed with Nourey I hold him primarily accountable as he’s put this squad together and ruined years of hardship probably put as back behind the 8 ball. It feels like we have a 26 year old PR consultant in charge of the club.

Just wondering after 10 league games if people still think the table is lying? I was definitely one calling for patience. No more patience left for me. But I would keep Marti even if we do down. And build from League 1. But……make no mistake, our league position is down to Marti. We can partly blame the new players and Nourry but Marti and the old players are just as much if not more to blame for our position.

We can still field a good enough back 4 and goalie for this league in Nardi, Dunne, JCS, Cook, Paal. Going forward, are Dembele and Saito bad signings? The issue is the midfield with Madsen, injured Colback and suspended Varane. For me, it’s on Marti and his stubbornness.

Only signings currently I would say are any good James are Nardi.
Think jury is still out on absolutely every other one. Saito showed bit of promise yesterday so fingers crossed he keeps progressing.
As for Dembele I myself don’t see what other fans do i think he’s been woeful so far. What can the manager do with a player who seems to have next to no influence on a game other then drop him to the bench. want to be wrong and hope I am but I don’t see a player in him at all think he’s a dud.

Yep. All Dembele did was score yesterday. And that's more damning than it sounds. Him and Paal, as ever presents, need be dropped. Can't drop Field.

Have to say we were all dead excited as signings came in during the Summer. Marti and Nouri seemed a partnership made in heaven. Expect Les will be having a quiet chuckle. I guess the proof will be in how Marti handles the situation. Meanwhile... Not all of us. On a more important note how is your son 🙂 Thanks Bill. He's out of hospital now, having passed various safety assessments in hospital and at home (basic stuff like his ability to go up and down stairs, boil a kettle, take a shower) and receiving a lot of care from community therapists. Having to literally learn to walk and talk again. All his functions are intact, just need to rebuild the connections within the brain. His girlfriend has been able to work from home and look after him. A long slog ahead of him, but he's making slow but steady progress.
