Says something about the despondency on here that we haven't even got a match thread yet.
Unless some of the absentees were actually injured for recent games it was IMHO nuts to play weakened teams in potentially winnable games against relegation rivals. Would be ironic if the Willocks and Colbacks and Cooks came back for this game which is going to be very tough even with a full strength side. Obviously hope I'm proved wrong...
If the team sheet comes up with Dozzell on it I think I might just launch my phone against a wall. Time to drop Dykes, go for a false 9 and try to get a toehold in midfield.

Seems odd or a mistake that Marti says in his pre match interview that only one player is currently injured when Colback, Fox, Aoraha and Kolli havnt been fit for what seems a very long time.

There is only so many times you can ring this sponge of players they are what they are. There is no more to get out of them. Whilst a striker is a red alert priority a proper effective and forward thinking CM is as big a need imo. Field and colback are what they are so it’s one of them plus a decent cm beside one of them. Ainsworth wanted to play defensive football so brought in defenders or league one players and it shows. |

The suggestion made of Chair at CF is worth a go as long as they don’t launch high balls to him😂 Willock midfield anchor to get the passing going? If Muscles is going the only pace is Smyth and the odd burst from Chair. |
