Still felt nervous every time they had corner kicks. Thought we defended all the set pieces very well to be fair. Finally something seems to have clicked in that department, let's hope it lasts.

Really love the guy. Have 100% trust and faith in the guy. I just hope / pray that whatever league we’re in, he stays. Yeah me too. Haven't felt this good about a manager since Warburton, even through a very tough period of results to take. Still have absolute faith in him and hope to God he is still here next season no matter what.

I thought Begovic should have done better with the shot Cannon had to clear off the line and he looks lumleyesque in his distribution.

1qprdk you need to make it to more games 😀 I do, don't I. That was fucking brilliant yesterday. Scrappy game, and even though Millwall were absolutely piss poor, they made me nervous second half. What a relief when that second goal went in.

Good morning All 😁
And huge well done to Armstrong, Dykes, Colback, Cook and Salter all were fantastic yesterday.
What I really liked about Armstrong yesterday was he was super first half but poor second half but he still popped up with a goal I love that and it’s what we have been asking Dykes to do for seasons still contribute when it’s not going well so well done muscles for that plus on dykes he never scored but he was involved for 90mins and what a difference it makes.
Best game Colback has had for us by some distance so that’s the standard set anything less is not good enough. Thought Colback presence improved Field as he went about his business calmly yesterday.
Cook and Salter what can you say. As a partnership that’s probably as strong as we have had going back to promotion season of Redknapp or Warnock two outstanding players when you get them on the park. Salter will become a far better player playing alongside Cook.
And if we’re signing older players the likes of Cook, Derry and Hill are the prototype your looking for players who have been committed there whole career so there is no risk with that sort in attitude.
Fire them up for next Sunday Marti were more then good enough to get out of this if we’re all available and prepared this league is poop aside from two or three sides.

Man yeah Millwall only had 2 shots (1 on target) all game. That's some going for a team who have been quite leaky at the back in recent times. Excellent stuff.

Got to the game late, couldn't understand the Smyth omission at first as I've grown weary of reading team sheets or even previews (Clive's was brilliantly negative on LFW, seemed a shame we won).
Cannon was Kakay esque for the first 20 but the balance looked there afterwards....
Our first 11 now looks good but the bench attacking wise looked bare without Smyth as an option...
If fit, start the same team next week as Armstrong was scaring the sh1t out of the Wall defenders, I would replace him with Smyth at 60 as the two of them would likely run Huddersfield ragged for the full 90....

Enjoying the rare positivity on here. But important we don’t go overboard. We have really struggled to repeat good performances (and full strength team selections). So I need to see victory over Huddersfield to convince me we can turn this round. That said we were pretty good against Watford and Marti is improving us in individual areas. The defence is now tight, we are in almost every game and we finally seem to be creating chances now we are not slowed down by Andre checking his hair looks pretty. The acid test is whether we can carry on scoring goals. Despite yesterday am not convinced this team has enough goals in it but Marti is doing brilliantly with what he has.

I couldn’t hear the question posed properly (from WLS McCollough) but I’m guessing he asked if somebody is coming in to replace Dozzell, I definitely get the impression from Marti‘s long pause before answering that he’s pissed off with our financial limitations and annoyed at the situation he finds himself in. I would also question if Marti has presently the necessary control to decide which player does come in. I hope dirty Leeds lose to Preston today as it could provoke a substantial panic bid for Chair.

Getting this one in early as I am going for a very confident home win. Millwall are shit and if we play like we did today we will beat them without too much hassle. 😁😁 Copy & paste this for next Sunday

Good to hear he’s explained offside rule to Armstrong. Noticeable that he’s improving players.

main difference for me was we actually looked like we were playing with 11 men.
Hats off to Ceuffentes for turning Dykes into a number 10 - can safely say i would have thought there was more chance of turning Jimmy Dunne into one but Lyndon looks a different player bar the horrible tattoos.
Previously we have effectively played with 9 men with Dykes isolated up front and Andre playing hide and seek

Sounds like that was a master stroke by Marti, bringing in Sinton for a chat with the boys. Let's hope it worked for more than just the one game.

5-a-side was very enjoyable this morning - two Millwall fans among the regulars...
(Luckily we didn't play over the Christmas period, so they didn't get to gloat when we lost to them...)
