The media reports clearly say he has been found guilty, ie convicted. I know the Sun is not the world's most reliable paper but they would be opening themselves to a massive libel action if they were wrong on that point. Think its also been reported in Belgian media. I wouldn't claim to be any kind of expert on the Belgian judicial process but I would have assumed he would have to mount any appeal from inside prison, and that could take months? I don't see how he gets out anytime this season and probably not till this time next season. Of course I hope I am proved completely wrong. |
