So much love for the Rs on Leicester and Ipswich forums. The Leicester website has a 35 page match thread, most of it a homage to our great club. Some hilarious lines and well worth a gander. Many think we are “brilliant” and promotion candidates next season. For all you Chair haters, the fans of the division’s best club all absolutely drool over Ilias and wish he played for them, one declaring himself a “huge fan of the Belgium justice system” for not locking up our little rock thrower. www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/134682-qpr-leeds-possible-promotion/ Haha that was a class read 😂 Genuinely nice to see acknowledgement of the team, the performance and for what Marti has done.

Yeah it’s a proper match thread but hundreds of Leicester fans talking about “our team” QPR. They mentally kicked every ball like we do. Loved the line when we were about three up and someone says “if they blow it now i’m going to get down to Shepherd’s bush and torch a Waitrose.” Yes Marti v much on their radar.

if they did they would soon become as frustrated with him as many of our fans. Good player absolutely, overhyped massively. Hardly over hyped on here mate - loads of fans being calling for him to be dropped. Scores a goal and gets two assists and barely a comment about him in this thread, the praise going to half a dozen other players. Even during Ainsworth’s anti-football period he played like his life depended on it. We all know the frustrations but given our creative alternatives? The player who went missing for most of the season and who has reportedly already agreed to join Sunderland is conversely hailed a hero. But if you read the Leicester thread not many fans there creaming themselves over Willock. They did rate Lucas tho and also started calling him Jesus! because they have watched a game where he’s performed, in a game that meant something to them. If they had watched his performance at Hull recently the cream would be sour and I’m not sure their excitement or views of him would have been the same. All about balance. He’s a decent player who stood out yesterday as did Willock. If he starts delivering that level of performance week in week out then we have a top top player I hope he does as we benefit.

Yeah he was frustrating in a few games lately (while fasting tho) and if he didn’t have the other drawbacks he probably would be playing for Leicester. Think my point stands that far from being overhyped he is a bit unloved on here - not a single comment about that performance I just find odd

Think plenty of examples of him not showing up when he was not fasting too I got be honest when people were offering that up as an excuse it was bit bizarre. I do genuinely think he’s overhyped but I can see the potential in him too.
Anyway we won, we’re safe and he excelled so happy days. On to the 24/25 season.

Chair is very frustrating player. Has talent but doesn't always use it right way. But always thought he was our best player, at least until now when JCS has been fit and monumental.

BTW wasn't Leeds' away kit so ugly! That yucky shade of pink really can't help them!

Armstrong even on the floor in team photos 😂😂 With his foot dangling like that, I'm sure he's offside too...

But always thought he was our best player, at least until now when JCS has been fit and monumental. can be at times but i do think he'd be better for us if we had some reliable options up front. that being said i think he's also underappreciated by much of the fanbase in regards to other aspects of his game

I expect us to win and win well. 3-1. OK so I was unduly pessimistic.............. You know what, fair play, I take it all back 🤣 Would've been very happy with a draw and ecstatic with a win, never in my wildest wet dreams did I expect what happened

An incredible performance and really put them in their place. To a man the best I have seen in a long time and fair play to the playing and coaching staff for a tremendous effort.

Think plenty of examples of him not showing up Don't care. He's a genuine threat and we just don't have many of those. I remember when Adel was in his pomp and me Rs mate moaning that he never covered and had a tendency to be lazy. He couldn't see beyond Adel's weakest points. Obvs Ilias not in that class, neither is Chrissy, but the fact that Ainsworth repeatedly started without BOTH of them is a ringing endorsement of their talent.
