Being reported that Watford are trying to complete the signing of left back / wing back Yasser Larouci from Troyes.
Don't think that Ken Paal will be needed there if so.
Perhaps he has another suiter?

Not sure how we could possibly land Rak-Sakyi when Southampton are rumoured to be happy to pay 12m for him. I suppose it could be a scenario where Palace would prefer to loan him to a team outside the Prem rather than sell him.

The official line from Palace "sources" in the last few minutes is that Rak-Sakyi wants out of Palace due to only playing a handful of games last season and to prove the point he has just pulled out of the Palace squad flying to the US for their pre-season tour. He wants to stay in London and find a new club while Palace want him to stay with them and fight for a place. Southampton reportedly bid 12 million and were rejected, Leeds "rumoured" to be interested. The only way we will get anywhere near him is if Palace decide a loan out would be better than a sale and then we would need them to help with his wages and they would need to think we are good enough to give him the experience and guaranteed games. Fun to speculate a bit though Plus if it's true that we are after some overseas players it will take longer to announce these days as they will all require visa's, work permits and international football clearance although the latter seems more a formality than the others. Even Lakarche's loan to Dundee is pending international clearance! I doubt we will announce anything until we have at least the visa's and work permits in place to avoid anyone having egg on their face. |

Doubt it's the same but apparently he waltz's past defenders singing O Sole Mio as he goes ...... which sounds a bit weird as he is English/Ghanaian and not Italian. Maybe that's why we are after Frabotta at left back for his singing and dancing talents and he can double up to keep the crowd entertained at half time. If Santos can do the samba at right back we could be set up for an entertaining season. |

My point is (if the coverage is at all accurate - big question mark of course) it seems odd to commit to another purchase unless something is much further advanced with Paal than we are currently aware of. |
