Ajax sold thousands of those shirts. Became a fashion icon. We are being run by some clever business people now.

Aren't kits designed over 12 months in advance? Or maybe that is for teams who sell a lot more than we do.
I like that we are going more in Westfield now as well. Raise the brand awareness.
Nice kit as well. Presume it will be black shorts and socks.

Nice Rainbow shit as trim? More like Queens Park Rasta’s With a bit of luck the club will start leaving bifta’s on our seats next season instead of flags.

It is ok, but just lacks imagination, I guess. There is very little that can be done with the home shirt if we preserve the elements that are important to those who buy them, in fact we just end up with a wardrobe of sponsors, most of whom went broke after sponsoring us! So, in some ways, the away kit is of more interest. But the year after Dennis the Menace is always going to be a step down, but I would always prefer they did something with hoops, there are so many combinations that could work orange and black, red and white, yellow and black, pink and black, or even black and white. Provided we avoided white shorts it should get over any colour clash.

At least they took my advice about not using models with tattoos this time I think I am too old. Those launch videos are pretty weird to me. They also could not even mockup a pair of black shorts to complete it. Launched as leisure wear rather than players modelling a kit. Think it will be a poor seller because the last black one was too recent. Pink was a big seller, so perhaps that will be back next year when something new would be better. But yeah, I am too old.

All black? Maybe functional (unless we have a heat wave) but pretty boring really. Lacking in imagination imo - maybe they could have put the 3 rasta colours as hoops around the middle of the shirt to liven it up a bit. Not much you can do with all black apart from doing the Haka before kick off - Armstrong could be the front man to scare the s**t out of the opposition.
The test really is how many replicas they can sell so a good start to the season will help. If not I have a few old Bob Marley black T-Shirts that will do the job for free.
PS who says that nice young blonde model does not have a tattoo ?- I bet she does!

Not liking the new kits I’m afraid
Still hate the blue collar on the home kit Reminds me of the huge collars of the 70s
That away kit is also not great
They are trying too hard
Navy Blue plain away Hoops at Home no stupid collar

My two sons (in their 20s) both love it and will be ordering on Saturday, the same is true of my brother and his lads. Club have chosen a kit that will be popular with our fans and floating supporters.

This is a good point for me the kit is for young kids Adults in shirts always looks a bit pikey to me I’m sure this comment will ruffle a few feathers I’m still stuck in 1980s football factory clothing Maybe it’s not that important tbh Maybe we all make too much of it As long as the kids are happy I’m happy Love the new shirts 😎

i don't mind the away kit tbh. blue and white home kit is always the most important so i don't mind if they mix up the away kit every now and then.

but I would always prefer they did something with hoops Think of it as black hoops on a black background! Now that reminded me of the black and grey hoops. Now I liked that one. How many years ago was that? But ok, I will squint and imagine the faintest of hoops whilst singing Bob Marley's greatest hits. It may just work...
