Alfie Lloyd interview is brilliant. He sounds like any of us would be after scoring that goal for qpr.

What a lovely lad seems to be buzzing Literally came on here to post exactly that. So refreshing to hear a young footballer speak from the heart rather than trotting out the usual cliches.

We are not playing great by any means of the imagination Yes we have 12th place but we need to step up Big time our midfield is a fucking shambles atm Varian and Madison look completly out of touch Midfield needs sorting very quickly But good point However not good enough someone will batter us very soon Unless he sorts out the mid field Like Bambi on ice Need to have patience mate. Varane and Madson have never played in england before. Nor have Saito, Santos, Celar. We have to give them time. Do we trust Marti? Do we like the type of signings?

But think it does highlight an issue that i’ve been banging on about - in the Championship you need some tough fuckers who play ugly as well as your Dembeles and Chairs. Am concerned we have gone from one extreme to the other - agricultural shit under Gareth to players who don’t want to put their foot in. Ain’t going to work in the Championship

We have some though fuckers in Cook, Dunne, Colback. If we’re going to get better, going to survive, we needed to do things differently by signing younger players we could afford and then sell some of them on for profit rather than sell all for a loss

Just back and have to say I forgot about how bad the game was due to the last few minutes of play. Good point on the road considering how poor we were. Still unbeaten away from home in the league. More to come from this team once we get the balance right. Not sure Andersen and Madsen can play in the same team.

Have seen that eight times from different angle but still don't know how we scored. Same here. Basically a rugby scrum and impossible to even see where the ball was! With about three players laid flat on their arses, credit to the ref as he could easily have blown up

Not sure Andersen and Madsen can play in the same team. It looked like a 3-5-2 in 2nd half with Paal in midfield. He also put Andersen left, Madsen right and Dembele central. That's one way, or you could play Madsen as one of the DMs. With eventually something like: Nardi
Santos Cook JCS Paal
Field Colback
Andersen Dembele Chair
Frey
Plenty other variations though

Instead of a ten carriage train, we are packed into a five carriage one. Why is every aspect of this country run by such utter cunts??? I travel up to Sheff quite a bit on train. Pick up Cross-Country Plymouth to Edinburgh train - 4 coaches usually.

Firstly I am happy with our position and players
However in the next 2-3 matches if we play like that
We are going to be spanked
Anderson / Varane / Madison
Need to toughen up as they are too lightweight
Shows how much we do actually need Hayden
In the middle does it not

The team from end of last year seemed so strong
Now it seems soft just my opinion
Midfield is a problem it’s allowing teams to run through us easily

You can fanny around if you are Adel but we need those guys to win tackles.

Was having poolside beer with Weds mate when their goal went in. He produced a Weds coaster and put it under my glass - must have been on the edge for 90 having brought it with him for a wind up. When we scored I poured the half I had left into his trainer. Justice.

Would have Madsen in front of Andersen who I have thought was way off the pace and poor yesterday. They look like they want to be in the same area of the pitch. We look so much better with Dembele central.

Firstly I am happy with our position and players However in the next 2-3 matches if we play like that We are going to be spanked Anderson / Varane / Madison Need to toughen up as they are too lightweight Shows how much we do actually need Hayden In the middle does it not could also just as easily say that we're going to spank someone when it all comes together for us. we've brought in a lot of new players especially from european markets that have to settle in, adjust and come up to speed with the team. marti wants to change our style of play to be more possession and attacking based which personally i'm all for. the football last year that kept us up was solid and nice to watch at times but i love edge of your seat type football and would rather win 4-3 than 1-0. midfield does look a bit light atm but i'm still a big fan of it. madsen looks the real deal, i noticed yesterday in the few non laggy moments that he has been working on holding up the ball and closing people down. gunna be some player when he adapts that side of his game. just be patient, the team will come together and when it does someone is in for a world of hurt. i'd be very surprised if we didn't smack someone 4 or 5 nil this season tbh.

I thought he was solid and never done anything wrong. When he was twisted few times he battled back and blocked cross. Never really saw him venture forward but he was on the pitch to defend

Didn't help losing JCS. Prefer seeing Dunne as RB than CB, personally.

All 22 players up for the goal... I loved watching Nardi continually repositioning himself in their box to try and get involved.
