My worst fears are coming true. Time to change Marti. Need a striker badly or 2 but with no money its a problem. 2 up top please,Alfie Lloyd give him a go through the middle. Weak at the back and midfield,where we go from here who knows. I do wonder whether 3-5-2 might suit us better to be honest. |

Going forward we looked better but the central midfield is woeful without Colback. You can’t have Madsen in that role. Anderson needs time out of the side to have a good think about his standards.

Well I wanted our first decent performance of the season tonight and I got that. Fucking wank result though. I predicted 2pts in the October points prediction thread...this game was supposed to be one of those points!
Marti needs to sort it the fuck out and quickly, it's getting stupid now.

You’ve got to earn the right to play nice football in this league. We need Colback. We cannot afford to have Madsen, Anderson, Dembele and Saito in the same side. It’s absolute madness. We are so light weight.

I actually think this shows that we have to play 2 of Colback, Varane and Field in the midfield 2. Otherwise we get completely overrun. We also cannot afford to have Anderson in the 10 role.

Too easy to play against at the moment. We need to find a system to fit these players into as right no we have no shape or balance at all. Midfield creates fuck all and our centre forwards play every game with their backs to the goal. Colback and Varane could be a half decent pairing if they can stay on the pitch as the rest are far too light weight. Santos a woeful player who looks like he has won a competition and his prize is a season with us! All in all not good but we have to break this idea up of how we play and now find a system to suit the players as right now they are way off the pace

Hold your nerve all. I saw enough tonight to suggest we’re improving but we have to do the basics and cut out the mistakes. First two goals totally avoidable and third I think deflection.
If you don’t take your chances your backs going to be up against it and today everything dropped to Anderson who had one of those games he would not have been able to find his arsehole with a funnel.
Best game from Saito liked him today. Santos ok defending but can’t pick his nose let alone a pass forward. And I’m going need some convincing on Dembele I’m bemused how excited some are about him. Looks lost and weak to me.

Onwards to Derby must not lose.
