Over 60% of the vote is convincing. Does anyone know how long the naming rights last or is it indefinite?

Does anyone know how long the naming rights last or is it indefinite? It’s an indefinite rename CCJ. The club confirmed that to us this morning when we received the embargoed press release.

Hopefully that is not the case here. Yeah, hopefully. Either way though, it does mark the end of an era in the club's history (for better, worse or neither depending on your perspective).

Won't potential sponsors look favourably on charity work? My thinking is this sort of move could attract sponsorship deals.

My thinking is this sort of move could attract sponsorship deals. my take of it too plus it looks great for us in the community. we're after linford christie stadium and sure we could have got a sponsor to pay for naming rights but all that'll look like is that we're only after money. we need to get the council on our side if we're to have any chance of a new stadium. this is a smart move by the club imo and won't change anything in regards to what the fans call it. we and everyone else will still know of it as loftus road

I am.very suprised by the lack of sponsorship under our current owners compared to the previous. Gone are the days of Gulf Air and Santander at Rangers. Would have thought the current board could attract a decent bit of sponsorship for the club.

Look at the big picture... also take a look at the video of Kiyan's dad and tell me which is more important.

There's a big issus with violent youth crime in London, its completely the right thing for the club to do. Its not virtue signalling and nobody should have an issue with this. Its not a controversial charity! Imagine if we'd given the naming rights to Islamic Aid (you'd get all the EDL/Tommy Robinson wingnuts going crazy, that would be funny!) or PETA?

I bet you still called it Loftus Road, the same as I did. This is a furthering of the clubs community outreach and if it saves just one person from a stabbing then they can carry on calling after Kiyan for all the difference it will make to my life. Life is full of change, fighting it just causes stress, embrace it.

Yeah, when loftus rd ,was renamed Ranger's Stadium ,that got on my tits too , some things should be just left alone .( And I don't believe for a second QPR changing the name of their stadium is going to stop anyone carrying and using a knife, as Old said raising money via a friendly would have been a much better way )

Having a change of stadium name simply means that a few people log on to the website and some of those may make a donation. We're talking a few thousand. But, oh no, if there's a chance for our current board to shout out how right on they are they'll take that instead. The sooner we lose the idiots in charge the better we will be. Any charity backing Bayern, Barcelona or Real to win 30-0 would make a fortune......

#Bungle Park Rangers #Queens Patk Discount Pissing myself at your second hashtag... That is quality. We are the charity club. We give millions to mercenaries, give away our stadium rights for free, now our best players for peanuts. Pull your trousers up bungle, you are a complete and utterly inept clown. No1 bozo of the whole English league. You didn't agree with the stadium naming issue then hits?

You know I'm pretty conflicted about the naming of the stadium. It's great that the club do stuff for charity, and it's a worthy cause. But surely if the naming rights of the stadium were up for grabs we should have tried to make a few quid out of the situation? Maybe we could have made enough not to have to sell 3 first team players this summer.

With the state our club is in, ffp fines, living within our means, no assets of any kind on the pitch to raise funds, giving away the naming rights for nothing is pure political from bungle and Co. Name a stand, have a charity day, incorporate kpf on the match day program if you wish. The stadium is the only asset we have, why give it away for nothing? As tarbie has said, selling the naming rights could have afforded us in keeping Freeman. Now we will be struggling to survive this season because ole bungle wants to be seen as a lovely guy. We are a football club, not a fucking charity organisation.

Virtue signalling, Jack. There's too much of it. It's not this specific cause, it's the endless, ceaseless right on campaigning. Which does what? Please Labour run H&F? I go to watch football, not be endlessly lectured to by the left. Or the right for that matter. I feel like I'm being indoctrinated by left almost constantly when I'm the UK these days. I probably feel it a lot more having been out of the country for 11 years. But everything from what's on the TV to the opinions a lot people hold feels far more left wing than when I left the country! I'll add that I'm no right winger by any stretch. But I do feel that extreme left wing views are far more common these days and generally accepted far more than they were in the past!
