Caller on talksport last night was asked when the rot set in for Stoke. He highlighted a game against Liverpool when they had made some awful signings. Man in charge... Mark Hughes. Has he ever left a club in a good state?

In an alcohol related incident 🤣 I heard he needed Keogh Surgery! 🤣 Couldn't make it up though, could you? That's pretty much a career ender at his age. Cos he got in the car with a youngster that had been on the sauce? I bet the club are fuming!

On a more serious note, during that same night out 2 of them have apparently been arrested for drink driving, after crashing the car that caused Keogh's injury. The 2 arrested and now charged were Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence.

The police said that when they found Keogh in the back of the car that his eyes were popping out like he was under the influence of drugs and he was staring wildly; it took Lawrence 15 minutes to convince them that he always looks like that.

When it is read out in court that the team bonding session finished at 8 but they wanted to carry and then refused the club's offer of taxis home I wouldn't be surprised if there was a custodial sentence, especially as someone( Keogh) was hurt.

Doubt that mate. Not unless the judge wants to make an example of them. Drink driving cases like these where no non complicit party was injured normally end with a fine and a ban!
