I sort of get what you mean but that’s like saying we don’t want to go up, mid-table will do this season. You play to win and see where it gets you. We’ve got 30 points and that happens to make us top. Great. |

I don't think Notts Forest were anything near the top at this stage of the season. My take is we have what we have in the bank now; and every point counts equally whether in August or in April. E.g. we could easily find ourselves scraping into 6th place by a single point on the last day of the season, because of the win we earned against Millwall last September. He seems to be instilling a winning mentality too which has much to be said for. |
