Hypothetical question assuming your Leicester or Southampton fans. Obviously relegation is shit but as a fan would you rather go down and run away with league following season winning it and adding another title to the board or have stayed up and spend following season finishing mid table in prem or fighting relegation for another season. The former, easily. So much to be said for getting the winning feeling & feel good factor back to a club (not that I can remember that feeling lol). Massive gamble tho. Stay up has to be best bet for club.

I think Norwich had it spot on going up and down then they sacked the manager who made it happen and stayed down. And now Farke is Leeds manager. Perfect for them IMO.

So many clubs (us included) think "why aren't we doing better?" rather than ever stopping to think "if we make that change, might we be even worse?"

i feel like the list is heavily biased towards attackers (like most lists tbh!) and a few players are ranked higher than they should be.
paddy kenny imo was a better keeper in the championship than schmeichel. kasper undoubtedly went on to become a better player though but if the list was about who the best players to ever grace the championship then rooney would come out on top.
aside from that the list is hard to argue with.

Charlie should def be in top 10 who would he replace in the top 10 though? and has he been better at championship level than the guys infront of him? you gotta bare in mind that he only really had 3 and a half seasons were he was quite prolific as he spent a good chunk of his prime in the prem.

Surprised Eze didn’t make the top 20. Would be ahead of Tom Ince for me.

Manning signed for Southampton He must have a decent agent. Sort of player that probably looks decent on a highlight reel but you realise watching him week in, week out that he really doesn't read the game at all well.

would be a bit of a coup for reading though if they sign him and he stays fit. i was always a big fan of his and imo he had the potential to be a top championship player but those injuries have wrecked him

They are struggling to put squad together. Only Andy Carrol is one of a few recognised names. Surely he’s better then that.

Just seen Bristol city turn down 18 million quid from wolves for Alex Scott. How the fuck is any middle of the road championship team able to turn that down and we have to scrap for freebies. Footballs fucked

Footballs fucked they want £25m for him, he's only 19 and already looks like a great player who could step straight into a midtable prem side and will get better and probably move on to a top side in a few years. £25m for a player like that in todays market is a bit of a steal tbh, if he was playing in any other league he'd go for twice that. man utd signed diallo from atalanta for £25m after only 4 games for example.

Footballs fucked They've sold over 16k season tickets. They get over 2m in non match day revenue for the year. They sold a layer in Jan for 16m or so, Semyedo I think.

Get that the situation is vastly different it’s just very frustrating. We had players others wanted in dieng and willock and we don’t actively try and sell when the stock it high we just let the contracts run down. The club really have to look at this if they want to maximise profits. Too much fan appeasing
