Not gonna lie, this game has made me a little nervous as Rotherham look decent. And haven’t won away since 2022 apparently

One of the games in that Rotherham winless run was a 5-1 tonking at Loftus Road in 2017. Oh and they are one of a select group of teams to actually lose an fa cup tie at ours!

They must have given everything last night and thought they’d avoided another defeat. Hopefully that works in our favour and they’ll be a bit leggy.
Sad state of affairs when we’re so bad at home we’re pinning a win on these sorts of things against a team at the foot of the table and already as good as down. If we play like we can do it’s in the bag. Massive fucking if though with this team.

And haven’t won away since 2022 apparently Oh fuck sake I am sure we had a very similar situation with them a few years back & they done us lol I am having a little dabble on Rotherham Staurdya they're 9/2 - I absolutely hope I lose my stake without a doubt, but it'll pay for a few beers Saturday night to numb the pain if we do fuck it up lol Edit; just seen JFR link. Over 1,000 days it was ffs hahahha. For what it is worth I am standing by my post in the Rotherham match thread, fancy us big time.

Speaking of streaks, apparently Saturday’s game was our 4th successive away win at Bristol. Hard to believe our recent teams managed something like that.

Neil Harris back to Millwall. Edwards out.

Neil Harris back to Millwall. Edwards out. That would not be good news for us - think Harris would bring a short term manager bounce But will Cambridge release him - he's only been there a couple of months? Mind you, he's only on an 18 month contract - so probably affordable for Millwall to buy him out.

They might improve marginally but like ourselves they’re down there for a reason they’re not very good.

I agree he is a manager who can get them going again. Back to basics as they say...

Completely agree - but, as far as they're concerned, it just needs a slight upturn in their form to pull them clear. He does seem to be a bit of a'blood and guts' kind of manager and I certainly think he'll have an impact. Whether it makes or breaks them is another matter...

Same although I do think they are actually in freefall, and their championship status will depend a lot on our results.

most competitive and open league in the world imo. only worry about it is the growing gulf between recently relegated prem sides and the rest of the league.
even so there's cindarella stories every season, coventry, sunderland and luton last year being a big example. when was the last time a genuine underdog in the prem finished inside the top 6? you'd have to go all the way back to leicester's prem win. even wolves' consecutive 7th place finishes weren't that remarkable as they'd received heavy investment and influence from jorge mendes.

Agree, glad I follow a real team/club but I don’t feel the slightest bit guilty to say I really like watching the top teams - I don’t care how they are funded, life isn’t fair and just and there’s plenty more to worry about in the world than football. Watching DeBruyne and Haaland tonight was a delight.

Prem league is a cartel, and the championship is season on season struggling to compete with even the bottom 5. Best thing to happen is all the big 5-6 fuck off to a super league and rest of us crack on.
