Just caught the tail end of a segment with Kieran Maguire on the radio earlier. Apparently, Leeds owe other clubs in the region of £170m in transfer fees. Utter madness! there was a player a few years back that they had on loan with an obligation to buy for £40m if they got promoted. barely played for them but they tried to pull out of the deal after promotion but the court ruled in favour of the other club. to make matters worse leeds also had to fork over the guys wages which was in the region of £20m lol |

I wouldn’t worry or look too much at who is playing who in games to come. Ipswich drew with Watford at home tonight. Ridiculous result given Watford have nothing to play for. The only teams that will be “easy” will be ones that are secured in playoffs but no chance of automatic and if one of the 3 at the top are already up. I think only issue is Sheffield vs West Brom. Otherwise I’m certain all teams will be up for it. Point being, someone has to drop points. Ok. I meant more that anyone can beat anyone in this league. So I don’t buy into the hard and easy games stuff at this stage of the season. But agree that fixtures between relegation sides is helpful. |

wouldn't be opposed to sanderson as a backup I wouldn't want that mophead fool even if he paid to play for us. hahaha fair enough. he wasn't great for us but has been mostly decent for birmingham albeit he is an unwarranted captain for them. i'd never give him the nod over cook or JCS but as a backup he's not a bad option imo. a solid midtable player and one with great hair. would take laird back though as he has a player in there as others have said. last season i thought he had the potential to play for england one day, imagine what marti could do with a player like laird 😍 |
