Chris Rigg who is only 17 years old is a phenomenal player for Sunderland.

Sheffield wed - Leeds Utd 0-2. Gnonto still playing for Leeds. I thought he was off to a better club.

Sunderland are playing with high press just like Marti wants us to do. They are leading 1-0 against Burnley atm even without Jack Clarke.

Sunderland are looking extremely impressive. I know it's early days, but 4 wins out of 4 to start the season ain't bad. What a turnaround from their disastrous Mick Eel experiment last season. But how have they managed it?

Luton have just signed Victor Moses, who'll be 34 in a three months' time.
Desperation, or a good signing?

No idea but he was a free agent before signing for Luton so he was released by his last club. Reckon his best years are probably behind him.

Reckon his best years are probably behind him. 100% his best years are behind him, but his best years had him playing top level football. He is now in the Champ. I reckon he'll be a savvy signing myself.

Moses spent the last 4 years in Moscow. Playing 70 games in the Russian pl. Scoring 9 goals with 6 assists. 4 goals first season. Goal involvement 1 in 5. Standard of opponents probably not too dissimilar to championship, maybe worse, but we'll see🤷♂️

One of the local schools to me played them when I was back at school (and the local school were the bollox that year) and my pal was CB for them & they lost 5-0, always remember him saying they had a lad who was ridiculous - turns out it was Moses lol

Good memory Tarbs. I think it is a claret and dark yellow quarter kit. The original Whitgift school was on the site of the Whitgift Centre (shopping centre) hence the name. The Whitgift Foundation hold the lease on that land plus the school plus three other schools - Trinity, Croham Hurst and Old Palace. It is quite a wealthy 'charity' but it is happy to offer bursaries to good athletes !

Looking forward to our games against Man City in the 2025/26 season! Some football finance experts are suggesting it might even be a bigger punishment than that. Expulsion from the Football League altogether can't be ruled out apparently. Can you imagine them having to work their way back up the football pyramid from the non-league?

Expulsion from the Football League altogether can't be ruled out apparently. Can you imagine them having to work their way back up the football pyramid from the non-league? that’s sound bollocks as they can’t be kicked out football league as prem league separate organisation so only prem league punishment. Also if relegated no way would EFL object as season of man city in football league would be great for marketing and exposure.

I think it depends on the outcome and how it's perceived across the game mate. This article talks about the "Doomsday Scenario" where they are chucked out of the league altogether. For them to be allowed into the Championship, EFL members would need to vote in favour of allowing it. If they've been found guilty of blatantly cheating across a number of years, it's not beyond the realms of possibility they get given a big fuck you from the clubs in the Football League. www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/man-city-115-charges-explained-punishment-verdict-b1159138.html
