Twitter going fucking mental already. Seen some Warburton out posts. Swear to god, Rangers fans are some of the biggest cunts going. They are more than not likely Rangers fans but lonely nobodies that go round lots of teams looking for the slightest bit of attention. Just one person liking their tweet would send them into raptures. Should be called Twatter.

not really fussed about the result especially the circumstances around it. don't get why some people are up in over losing to a good austria vienna side who're ready for next season.
there were some positives for sure, i found it hard to keep up with it though as there are so many unfamiliar faces in the team atm! thought scowen and barbet had good games and furlong looked much more threatening going forward than he did last season but he was caught out a few times. eze was playing with a lot more confidence which is promising even though he made a few mistakes.
liam kelly was remarkably composed but he needs to improve his handling if he wants to displace lumley as atm lumley is ahead of him for sure

Some fantastical slaggings for Warburton on twitter last night and this morning. I swear some of our fans are thicker than a camila batmanghelidjh rough cut chick pea 8lb turd. IMO Friendlies are to get players fit, have a look at a few likely lads coming through and experiment on some sort of playing pattern / style for the forthcoming season
You would think Warburton was a tea urn gofer for Kenny Noye on the Stoat beast wing for sex cases with Some of the lumpen shit he's getting on twitter. It was a fackin' Friendly. In early July!.

Who cares about pre-season game. We’ve got the cricket World Cup final tomorrow after I watched us stuff the Cheats on Thursday. Arise Sir Jofra and Sir Jason. This country needs a lift.
Although 2010/2011 was pretty good for cricket

Don't like the feel of it so far. Scowen moved forward - like putting a sticking plaster on a sucking chest wound. The Blessed Neil would have had in more strikers than ASLEF by now.

From the few glimpses I saw on the highlights we didn't look too bad with the ball.

Taking into consideration that Wien were playing their last warm up match before the season, and preparing for the Europa Cup qualifiers, compared to our first pre season friendly venture then I would say that we did quite well. The intent to play out from the back rarely caught us out and the football was more pleasant to the eye for it. Still work to be done on the transition from defence to attack as it broke down a number of times when no passing options were presenting themselves. The team looked confident, if a little less skillful that Wien but it was, overall, a promising start and I am sure that once teams with decent strikers they are looking to offload realise the transfer deadline is closing in upon them we may see a couple of good deals done. I would consider the Austrian trip to be an 7-8/10 success and I think that if the progress is maintained then we should avoid relegation next season. It would be great if we managed to finish above 16th but if it is to be 20th then so be it, at least we would be having an interest in the whole season rather than it tailing off mid April LOL.

we just lacked a cutting edge, certainly need a couple of strikers and I think we'll be fine
