Need to find a LB, look weak there
Decent enough effort so far. Look tidy enough but a potent forward would improve us tenfold
Nice turn of pace barbet to recover towards goal
Amos looks really good player so far he’s stood out
Could Lumley have done better with goal?

shodipo, barbet and amos been the standout players so far. we've been caught out on the counter quite a bit but we look solid going forward.

For me this was a very positive first half, I have seen a team capable of playing football with few touches and that is something If MW is trying to acheive. Players who stood out for me were Amos, Scowen, Barbet, Hall and Shodipo. Rangel and Ball can do better. But on the whole I like what I saw...

Pretty happy with that. Some lovely passing quick football and movement off the ball.
Looked reasonably solid all over the pitch. Just lacking forwards
I’m optimistic

Can’t wait to see Amos and Smith in the same team along with an old dog like Cameron.
Couple of decent strikers added and we will be fine this year!!

I hope someone can teach BOS how to finish. He should have buried a chance or two today.

This got everyone out there seat And another example of why it was right to move Smith on as you can’t play that ball quick on break with him as he would be unable to keep up with play. Spoke about quick dynamic football in another thread and we saw it in that move

Excited to see who comes in this week. It's clear that Warbs has a style of play he wants the players to adopt and they are showing signs of executing it . Hoping for some enjoyable football from us this season.

That's why you need a plan B, which is what MS essentially was. Striker wise, we don't even have a plan A. That ratio aint sat on our bench anymore, and I don't see it anywhere on the park, be it in the form of a lump or a speed merchant. The only true hitman I see who is QPR parks his arse around here from time to time. Be honest. Up front its a wing and a prayer right now. Almost literally..... You can create as much as you like - and I've been moaning about slow transitions for years so I completely get what you're saying - but if the ball doesn't end up in the back of the net on a regular basis, we'll stuggle, because I don't think there's any guarantee of us not conceding on a fairly regular basis.

You really need to let the Matt Smith thing go mate. The guy was sold because he wanted to go and it was our last chance to get a fee for him. He has been unhappy for a long while now about warming the bench. So having him as a plan B this season was never going to be viable. He either wanted to start regularly or be allowed to leave.
