Draw next game then another win take the pressure off Dickie and Dunne do not work together Need Salter of Balogun back asap This will stop the leaky defence Would be nice if they weren't so delicate. Fucking abysmal the amount of mins combined these two have played. What a drain on resources they have been.

Back in 80s when balls were shit , pitches too, b4 subs etc I can’t remember all these pulls , breaking downs of various sorts etc. Look at all the tech, med , pitches etc advance’s to back then and they always injured. Wtf

You have to wonder whether the advancement in technology simply equates to players nowadays being able to progress to this level with weaknesses which in the 80’s would have meant they would simply not have made it this far and been fucked off out of football altogether. It might also be a reflection of how players are wrapped in cotton wool nowadays so they’re not exposed to the rigours of competitive football at a high level until they reach a certain age/point, when their fragility is finally exposed. Or they’re just almighty tarts.

Just look at rugby, they have to be half dead and arrested to stop playing. It’s ok boss I’ve got a 2 nd arm still and I will hop

Perhaps they should show that film to the squad; specifically the scene where Alec Guinness goes round the sick bay and rouses half of them to get out of bed and help build the bridge.

When QPR finished runners up in the Premier League in '76 (1st Division as it was known then), we used what 15 players max in the entire season (Alan and Bill can confirm)!
Basically it was the same 11 in almost every match and the players simply never got injured.
This was all on crappy muddy pitches too with heavy balls; and Dave Thomas had his socks round his ankles with no shin pads.
Go figure!

players did get injured but they more often than not played through them. still, they retired earlier than they do today!
football is a game of extremely fine margins and if one player isn't at 100% then it will be exploited

Just checked and I was two out. 17 players used in that entire season, with the majority in the first 12. So out of 42 total games played, in order of appearances: 01 Parkes 42 02 Masson 42 03 Gillard 41 04 Thomas 41 05 Givens 41 06 Clement 40 07 Webb 38 08 Bowles 37 09 Francis 36 10 McLintock 35 11 Leach 31 12 Hollins 30 13 Abbott 6 14 Beck 5 15 Tagg 4 16 Nutt 3 17 Shanks 2

Clarke Salter out for the foreseeable future. Just get rid of him as total waste of a wage. Saw him go off at Birmingham after playing against Deeney and thought you are not for me

Balogun is approaching fitness apparently. Will probably be fit for Nigeria in african cup qualifying in march and would miss 2 of our games. And come back injured.
