First of all, thanks for the invitation. I hope this new venture is a success and I'll do my best to support it.
Not sure if anyone else is doing it but I'm...
Shepherds Bush born and bred now living in Amsterdam, pushing 40 years old and i've so far indoctrinated two brothers and a son. To QPR, not this forum, I hear enough of their crap as it is.
My favourite stand is Ellerslie and I still have a sod of beyond-mouldy turf (fossil?) from the last day of the season when you could still stand in the loft and paddocks.
That's about it. Oh yeah, and I f***ing hate the colour pink.

Nice one mate, glad you're on board. Fuck it, while we're doing intros... I'm Gaz, 32, and as the name suggests I'm a big ginger bloke who used to hold a 3rd Dan black belt in martial arts. Been a Ranger since we beat Spurs 4-1 at LR in 1992/93, current season ticket holder in R Block with my daughter, brother and dad. I've proper enjoyed posting with you blokes, hoping we can bring that camaraderie onto this board like we had on the other one.
Oh, and my favourite colour is green.

Used to hold a 3rd Dan? Do you have to renew it like a licence or something? Lose it if you're not practising? Pity you weren't sitting in West Paddock v Leeds. And three generations attending together πππ

Like riding a bike though, I've used it since in certain situations.

πππ Don't worry mate, it was 14 years ago and I'm less mobile since then. May have lost a fair chunk of weight but I don't reckon I'd be able to head kick someone without tearing a muscle.

Third generation of Rangers supporters that is now into the 4th generation. My first 2 games that stick out was a 7 nil thrashing of Burnley and a 0-0 draw at home to Norwich when Glenn Roeder was our skipper. Used to have a season ticker in the upper loft when in division 2 but now have one in the lower loft due to my kids prefering to sit there. John

First game 81 2-0 win over Blackburn in the old 2nd Division , brought to Loftus rd by my Dad RIP , always lived in the golden triangle of Sutton ,Merton and Croydon in the suburbs of South London . Aged 48 and as my user name suggest have had a life long passion for scooters and the clothes ,and music that goes with them . Sit in the upper Loft but have had to forgo my season ticket because of my shift work . ( so when your train arrives at Shepherds Bush , just think ,if i`m not at the match chances are i`m driving you there !) Johnny

Vespa. I also remember a 3-0 win for us with Tony Currie slamming one in the top corner. Good days back then with Johnny Byrne and Gary Bannister in the mid eighties banging the goals in on the terrible sand ridden plastic pitch.

Norf London raised. Still live there. Surrounded by liberals. Was born a stone's throw from the Spurs before my parents escaped. Being going since 1977. Hence the number in the name. AWOL a couple of times in the 1990s and noughties. Especially when living in the US. I used to wear a black belt..... Un Zen like yogi.

Born in Norfolk. Escaped in 1971 when my Dad got a job in Croydon. My older brother said we need to find a London club to support so he chose QPR for us and at seven years old you just follow you brother!! (he hardly ever goes now!)
Started actually going to games in that epic 75/76 season and been going ever since with a few spells away (I was in Hong Kong for three years). When my boys were old enough I started bringing them along so have saddled them. I still live in the Croydon area and have a ST in R block.

Tax is high but you where it goes mostly. Leidsplein still a lively spot, I'm 15 mins away on a tram. Hilversum from what I gather is a posher area of Holland, or the surrounding villages anyway - our Surrey? Something that may interest you, mate - big moped culture in this city and all the cool kids have a Vespa obsession. More for the latest/coolest than classics, but an obsession none the less. I'm told this started back in the 80s when their most notorious criminal, Willem Holleeder, was known for riding the streets of Amsterdam on one. I wouldn't be surprised if he got it from UK culture as there's definitely an anglophile element of the Dutch.

Leidesplein is a great area , decent smoking cafes but not as dodgy as the red light area . As for the M word !!!! Dont do mopeds myself ,got to be over 200cc and have gears and a clutch !

new forum , slate wiped clean ...... Please acricketer , spill the beans ........... Haha. Alright! Born in Berlin while my dad was doing National Service. His family was born and raised in Ladbroke Grove. All Rangers. Moved back there when I was 3 months, St Marks Road. Went to my first game when I was 4 ( Bournemouth). Went to all the home games in the 75-76 season and a few away. Living in Twickenham by then. College, life, work (RAF), playing sport (loads of rugby and cricket, MCC) relationships interrupted regular attendance but went with family and friends at every opportunity. Met my other half while on an assignment in NY and have been living in the States for the past 15 years. Go to Loftus Road whenever I'm over. Flew in just for the OBZ game! I am also very tall, 6'5" so don't talk to me about seating.

Very tall for a lady cricks?!!! I'm rather boring, but thanks for asking vesps. Born in Cornwall still live here, mother Cornish, father Welsh.... me?,grumpy sh*t. Been poor all my life, mother died when I was 8yo. Dad proved very wise and got me interested in football at 10 and encouraged me to watch this amazing football team in the mid 70s who batting well above their avg. Never been abroad, married, have crossed the Tamar (under cover) not been found out yet!! Now stuck in a night mare world where my team's future is decided by men in suits rather than points won on a sat. Cornwalls a lovely part of the world ( no one has ever said that about Croydon ! ) , youve got pasties and everything ! ( have to admit ive just wiki ed the Tamar , to find out what it is ! ) Just a question are you one of the nutters who think Cornwall isnt part of England ?
