Charlie Austin loves being the talisman at our football club and scoring goals in the hoops. He may not be as mobile as 1st time around but the goals are always in the same place and Chaz knows exactly where they are. He and Johansen have really helped the team out and twice now we have come from behind to beat a top 4 team so great team spirit being shown game after game.

Since he returned he’s played 6 and we’ve won 5 of those, oh and btw he’s scored in half those games.

his contract is up at the end of the season too. can defo see him coming here on a perm. loves the club, would have made his money at southampton and can secue his future as a club legend too.
i hope the club brings him in as we clearly need him on and off the pitch

Just watched the whole clip. Austin was fouled a few seconds before, ref didn't give it. Austin dished out a bit of retribution.
He'll have to take that one on the chin. As much as it was borne out of poor refereeing.

Referee didn't see it? Didn't happen. Player didn't complain? No problem. Go fuck yourselves, FA. Apparently the player did complain to the ref and showed him stud marks under his shirt. Ref was looking right at it, so bizarre that the the FA can complain retrospectively, but them's the rules I guess. And, have to say, Austin does seem to have stamped on him deliberately... Expect a ban of some sort - possibly 2 matches if he admits the charge? Great opportunity for Dykes and Bonne to shine! |

If it's deliberate I could of course understand a sanction, but if it's unintentional then I can't see the rationale for what is an occupational hazard of the sport.

don't know whether its intentional tbh as he was turning round and trying to run with the ball. i haven't read the article so don't know if he's admitted to guilt.
does austin have it in him to stamp on someone? probably.
but its not clear enough imo.
