Warburton needs to take a lot of the blame. How can he let Manning play poorly match after match and still not taken off? I can`t believe it. What about the centre halves? Manning is a stop gap left back who is being exposed, What is the defence for Leistner, Barbet and to a lesser degree Hall all season?

Why the hell have you only been blaming Manning, a guy that's playing out of position and is not a defender, when the entire defence is to blame? I pointed out Leinstner earlier in the thread.

Central Defenders shocking so far apart all the time
Every time they came. Forward I thought they would score
Sort out the fucking defence for fucks sake I'm. So fucked off with it now
Cameron was totally shit he needs benching ASAP

Let's not dress this up we were shit Defence is totally awful Toothless up front with Nacki on his own Could have gone second dire dire performance End Of story Goalkeeper saved it being 5 The defence is crap but look at chances we are giving away. Josh scowen has 1 good game and then 5 rubbish ones. Midfield is awful. Chair and scowen must go.

I don't blame the defence players. They're bang average for the most part.
I 100% blame Warburton, because proper coaching makes a massive difference even to average players at the back. That hasn't been happening. QED.

Well if you criticise Manning every game which is fine what about the centre halves as not one seems to be getting flak.

Progress lads.

I have noticed that for all the pretty football - and the shocking defence - there are too many times when players go missing. We've been bullied a few times this season as well.
When the going gets tuff we're happy to take it where the sun dont shine. If the gaffer can't get em up for a local derby thats a piss poor sign.

Manning rightly gets flak when mistakes are being made but not as much being aimed at Leistner who defensively has been shit for an experienced centre back so far.

A fit Amos alongside Ball would probably have been a good combination tonight. Not sure. Leeds next with hugill available for selection again!!

Ball is a much better option next to Cameron. So much tidier on the ball.

Scowen and Cameron is just the wrong partnership. Think that's pretty obvious now!

Would definitely have Ball back in and Amos and perhaps even Smith if fit in the middle of the park. you see the game just like me Scowen and Cameron can’t play at the Pace we need too in defence or attack. Both need two or three touches before giving ball away. Swansea, baggies and Brentford have bullied and out played us in the middle of the park because they have mobile players who impose themselves who can also play one touch. Sawyers for baggies, mbeumo and da Silva kept ball moving tonight where as our CM can’t control it to start with then after it bobbling around they lose it Matt Smith could be our version of them as he’s got quick feet so I would play him and Amos going forwards or Ball. All light years ahead of Scowen Chair has not taken his chance and he’s had extended run so I would drop him, push manning further up and give Wallace a go LB This won’t be popular either but Hall has been part of a failing defence going back to Ned and every partner since. He’s not the answer at CB he’s as guilty as others making mistakes but never really gets criticised Was chatting Wycombe on way home and said perhaps the good start has back fired on us as it’s raised expectations unfairly. This side, although it could have gone second, is not and will not be a top two side. Think season will level out now. Someone said losing would be exciting so no need worry about defence, well was that exciting tonight???

Wests, think he'd be better alongside Ball or Amos. Important to find the right partnerships. Overall was better last season though.

I don’t think he looks interested Stan. Dont put his foot in ever, looks lazy too. He’s totally coasting
Compare his efforts to what Dom Ball has produced. Chalk and cheese. One player wants to play and the other is turning up playing on reputation
I might be wrong but that’s what I’m seeing when I see Cameron lumbering about

Chair is not having an impact and a rest will do him good as he is a very young boy who has done ok so far. Smith Amos and Ball would be a far better footballing option than Scowen and Cameron it would also mean better protection for a very weak defensive line.
