Cast your minds back to the later stages of the 14/15 season and a lot of our fans up in arms about Charlie being overlooked for Vardy for an England callup. Who would've thought at that point one of the two would go on to win the prem and score 100 league goals while the other had a sharp decline. Sad to see the way it's gone for Chaz while full credit has to go to Vardy for what he's done at top level the last four years.

Austin is washed up now. Loved that guy, but like many, leaving us results in them going down hill

He has really gone off the boil.
I thought moving to WBA was a shit move when it happened and it appears it's all turned sour for him.
Real shame and I'd still love him back in the hoops.

I'd have Chaz back in a shot.

Austin we had I would have back in a blink of an eye, but he’s not that Austin anymore and has not been since he left. Sold at the right time for the wrong price but I’m convinced we had the best of him
Some players just fall of a cliff, he just seems to be that type

I'd swap Hugill or Wells for Austin without a second thought.

I'd swap Hugill or Wells for Austin without a second thought. I wouldn't swap Mlakar for Austin as it is now. He is shot.

Even though he’s always injured and rarely scores now mush? Yes mate. Natural born goalscorer. If West Brom played him for 90 minutes more often (think he's only done more than 75 mins a few times) I'm sure he'd get back to being up there in the goal charts.

It was a piece of hyperbole TBH, but I wouldn't have Austin back as it would be detrimental to the club. I also don't think he would want to return either on the wages we would be offering.

Austin is like my testicles, once good, once twice very good. Now a spent force just living of its glory days.

Got to say that Vardy has become different gravy under Rodgers Whole team has. Playing to strengths. Vardy is always on the move and they always look for him. He's not pretty but it works. Not bad for 32/33.

My Mrs worked in property at the time when they did any business with John Leslie they would have to go double handed as he would put it on young birds

Always felt something wasn't quite after watching this. Just watched this. He comes across little bit bizarre It's true. He used to be more measured and almost shy in interviews. Interesting too what he says about arrogance: "You have to be arrogant, but there's a difference between controlled arrogance and plain arrogance." He does seem very on edge.

I think Vardy has the pace which makes him more of a threat than Charlie as well as not suffering from more serious injuries.
