Don’t disagree 73 he was decent but one game against side that never really threatened is different to blood and thunder of the league. When he’s played there in league he’s looked ropey, plus today’s goal did come from him over playing
Do like the look of him at RB

Wallace, Cameron and Dom Ball need to be starting as all three show the right leadership.qualities.

Those three for leadership stand out for me. The playing side bring in Eze, BOS Amos.

Cameron is make shift CB he is not someone I would rely upon in that position as a regular but reliability there has been our problem, who would you or any of us rely on back there? Not so simple to call it. Apparently he basically took charge, called out and generally schooled the situation. Which is what we've been crying out for. He maybe makeshift, but he aint clueless. That's a start.

Seemed to revel in the role he had today with young masterson next door to him.

I think his legs might be starting to go a bit, he's looked off the pace a few times when played in the middle. He reads the game so well that I'd have no concerns playing him at the back if required.

We all agreed on here there was no one with a voice back there as a rule. Cameron offered that yesterday which helped those around him and the keeper as well who came a couple of times and palmed/punched the ball away. No one has up till yesterday shown any leadership so seeing him doing that was a welcome change.

Thought he was excellent yesterday that one blip aside.

Any point in the Joe Lumley quote. esox thinks joe Lumley has been unfairly criticised and has been brilliant 😁 He hasn't been brilliant at all but he is being slaughtered for each and every mistake he has made, unlike any other player where they get called good except for the blips..

I’m sure you said he was brilliant against Cardiff
Would add I don’t think he’s been slaughtered he’s been challenged and questioned on the volume and regulatory of the mistakes by fans which is fair enough

Even on FB groups there is very little in the way of critique and tons in the way of hyperbolic abuse. You can't call players fucking shit and telling them they need to fuck off from your club without it affecting them. There was a minute before the kick off to allow people time to reflect on mental health and it is the shit that gets posted that gets people like Chris Barker being reported as committing suicide and Josh Scowen refusing to celebrate what might well be our goal of the season.

I am on twitter (not FB I’m over 18😁) and I would never directly message a player saying he’s shit. I think that type of behaviour is bang out of order and I would not defend or encourage that. I don’t agree with booing players or team either for the record.
I will however express an opinion on a fans forum when a player plays well or plays poorly as that’s the point of the forum to share opinions. I don’t rate manning the majority do, I get that, I really rated Ned most thought he was poo, it’s all opinions.
It was you that said he played brilliant against Cardiff and are accepting of the ongoing mistakes he’s made, I dont think I’m saying anything which is not accurate there, but happy for you to pull me if I’ve taken anything out of context

All of our players have faults, many for reasons much discussed on here, but what purpose does it serve to focus on the negative in a team of kids, freebies and loan signings? I know from the sports I played through my teens through to my fifties that I didn't need anyone pointing out mistakes I had made, I knew! Advice on what I should have done was what helped me improve, especially when I gave up squash for football, and anytime someone offered praise it only made me want to get better. We all see the same thing, but not all of us choose to air it. If we were discussing the mercenaries we accumulated during the SWP/ Barton years then I could understand fans getting irate at any lack of effort, arrogance etc. but we aren't seeing a scrap of that in the current clutch of players; be happy for them.

We’re not miles apart on our views Esox. But all I done is highlight your view where you said a player was brilliant. If Lumley was brilliant what were Wells and BOS?? Assuming now, from above, you were not even at match to form that opinion which makes your description and defence of Lumley even more bizarre.
What we won’t do is agree on the point of forums. Your of the mindset that players/club etc should not be criticised at any point and we should only highlight the good and ignore anything else. On that basis we might as well shut the forum down as what’s the point in being blinkered and fooling ourselves into thinking everything is fine and we have no areas we can improve.
Just my take on your point of view but not going fall out over it as do think your decent poster when your not trying to censor everything 😋
Question are you part of the club or close to people at it???

Watching this Leeds game and have to say they are great to watch and clearly their coach has got them playing as he wants them to. We seem to be trying to play in a similar way and I for one will be over the moon if we end up playing like they are.

Just my take on your point of view but not going fall out over it as do think your decent poster when your not trying to censor everything 😋 Question are you part of the club or close to people at it??? Don't misunderstand me, I am not trying to prevent people pointing out, as you have done, "he could have done better with that" type comments followed up with a "Gavin Ward should be working on his x, y, z until he can do it in his sleep" etc. It's the crass "(N) is fucking shit" comments that get my goat or "(n) is the worst player to ever wear the hoops" when it is patently untrue. Hyperbolic abuse I called it and that is what is objectionable to me. I am not part of the club but am good friends with Tom English the steward who looks after the disable fans these days and Marilyn who runs the coaches as she was part of our little get along gang that always stood behind the left of the goal home or away. Many years ago I used to park next to Alan Mac, Andy Impey and Les on the White City Estate and used to walk to the ground with them and despite any other criticisms of Les his memory works. I was talking to him after a game last season with Dave (AKTUR'S) Thomas and gave me a bit of a sideways glance and said "I remember you, you used to park on the WCE next to me" I was quite surprised as I have changed a lot since I was in twenties. I know about 250 fans at games, around fifty of them good friends that I have known for years, and mostly through Dave & Joe Hylton and his wife I know John Gerrard, our Met Police match co-ordinator who runs our Met Police Twitter account. I nearly always stop to chat with Andy Sinton when I see him and it was me who pointed him towards Ron Hunt before he died as Roger Morgan had told me that Ron had become a recluse since his son committed suicide. As a young kid I was in Roger's personal fan club and usd to see him at the secretaries house every now and again as she lived by me. Ian Gillard and his wife are another couple I chat to before games when I see them but it's never aboutanythingg official LOL That's about it really, other than an odd one... I wrote a nice article about QPR after the second year in the Prem where we were relegated and I got a Facebook friend request from Ruben Gnangalingam in which he thanked me for the kind words and for my support. He has since written to me sporadically on FB but I doubt very much if he would know me from Adam at a game. I will never fall out with anyone on here, there's not enough years left in me to go around losing friends LOL.
