He is a very good player. I said in another thread that we need another winger as we only really have BOS. Chair and Eze are central so it will give us some good balance.

Pugh hasn't really played out wide has he? He seems to be more central as well. Shodipo I will be amazed if he makes it with us. I know he's been injured but doesn't seem to feature very often.

Yeah, Shodipo has been there or there abouts forever without really making an impression. Suspect he will find his level a division or 2 below us within a season or 2. As for Pugh, thought he looked good early on in the few cameos he got, but he hasn't really kicked on, has he? Maybe played on 1 season too many? I know he was highly rated at Bournemouth.
From what I've seen Clarke will be an improvement on both of those players.

I think Shodipo has a lot of potential, but he needs to avoid injuries for at least a year and get regular playing time in a real league. Great if it could be for us, but maybe we should get him out on loan for the rest of the season, if Clarke comes in.
