Crown & Sceptre for years until almost impossible to stand in comfort due to a combination of away fans and people eating Thai looking food,
Then to White Horse but apparently restricted to a certain number of people now, despite plenty of room.
Now to the Adelaide. Still a nice easy walk.

Used to be the Goldhawk (good old jugsy barmaid)....now Adelaide or just go to the Bull as spitting distance from the train station.
Worst pub.....walkabout has to be up there. Although I did have a good session there when the Sun was offering £1 pints there with every copy.

My all time favourite was the Bushranger - still miss that place. Before the BR I used to drink in the Adelaide, or occasionally the C&S. After the BR went tits up it was the Goldhawk and then in more recent times the Defectors Weld. People constantly decry the Weld, but I say good, because that means you're not in there. Great music, excellent food and range of real ales and comfortable (if you can get a seat on match days). Had some excellent after match shenanigans in there over the years too....

Good thread
Have drunk in most boozers around bush. In Prem usually went in Bull because they gave season ticket holders free pint. I like the Askew too.
Recently been drinking in Spoons in Acton or the Castle the traveling into ground

We use the Defecters after evening matches ,because its on the way back to the station , but i really hate plastic glasses ! Really dont see in this day and age in a pub thats strictly enforced Home fans only , (and even then ,Home fans with no colours on ) why we have to have plastic glasses ,so unnecessary .

I couldn't agree more mate. I went in there before the Watford game and was disappointed to have plastic glasses. No need when you have to show your ticket to get in.

They serve in glass in the Askew which is a surprise given it’s where most the boys front up now and no door staff

Still like the spit and sawdust feel of the White Horse. Normal people in there.
Last time I was in the Adelaide it was full of poncey Shoreditch types. Not my scene.

Used to do the White Horse regularly but i havn`t been in there since that Newcastle match ,when the geordie landlady let in a whole load of Newcastle fans and locked out the QPR matchday regulars , i just thought ,fuck you then after that . Bit like the other Irish pub ,O Donnahues ?( dont know if its still there ) just along from the Goldhawk , we got in there early doors and they were putting their QPR flags up , i thought they were up in the pub all the time ,but it turns out they take them down after the main football crowd have gone and put them up again on matchday . Not impressed.

Staff make an effort and food used to be good but has gone backwards. Decent for a beer still

Been meaning to check that out Bit out of the way for the ground I would have thought It is, but it's 5 minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate, so I guess Lymesie doesn't mind the short tube journey to White City and then the amble down SA Road. I reckon he drinks there because it's named after Churchill though!

A right mix of tourists and Notting Hill old school and like I said seems to be a favourite with away fans who only want to have a friendly drink. 25-30 minutes from pub to ground. Fullers pub by the way

Love the Churchill Arms. Old school. Always busy, mind. The Uxbridge Arms in Notting Hill Gate is nice, too.

Used to love the British Queen myself, when that shut down for a while we frequented the Crown & Sceptre but that's got way way too busy for my liking of late so have found ourselves drinking more back in the old Queen, now called The Pocket Watch I think - does a nice pint of Julian Speroni which is always handy.
