Many players gave up when we again let such an easy goal in . And who can blame them?? It`s like starting a season on -10 points. It can`t be that difficult to see that we need a defensive coach, can it?..

Watched all the 1st half, had to dip in and out of the 2nd, but from what I saw Masterson had another good game and neither he nor Kelly were at fault for the goals. DK, definitely think Kelly is an improvement on Lumley as the latter gifts a goal per game on average and not seen Kelly do that yet. No, maybe not, but by not much of an improvement, I mean it litterally, i.e. an improvement but not by much  Anyway, I take it you did see the mistake in the first half where he (Kelly) tried to save the ball going out for a corner and gifted it to a Blackburn player for a shot on open goal, Hall cleared it off the line. Bad decision making on Kellys part, and could easily have been a goal. My stream was lagging at the time so I only saw the replay, without sound. And are you sure he had no chance to save the header? Masterson looked good throughout, and not questioning him in the least. Wallace did well today for the most part, and may be better than Manning in some respects, but at times he looks iffy as well. Fair comments DK. Yes Kelly messed up with that 1st half save. Should have either held it or let it go out, but at least it didn't cost us a goal. The header I don't think he can be blamed for given its power and proximity. That was just down to poor marking.
As for Wallace, as a LB by trade, he's definitely a cut above Manning from a defensive standpoint IMO. The evidence is there from all the goals conceded down the left side this season.

Ironic really that the previous administration have got better stats than Uncle
(expenditure / points gained ratio)
They were just smarter. We need to face up to the fact that we're basically a failed property development scheme.
One day we'll be a football club again, but don't hold your breath.
