I created this thread as it didn't really fit in to any other thread discussion about the clubs ability to progress this season. A few eye openers (for me anyway) were the matchday revenue figures of less than £5m for the season which is a real worry. The other one is just how much we rely on capitalised, interest free loans from Ruben just we could operate. I don't fully understand a lot of this but it is clear that the seasons accounts don't make good reading; I believe this was the year we lost our parachute payments.Next years submitted accounts will hopefully make a better read. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03197756/filing-history Click on the pdf link on 13 Feb 2019 Group of companies' accounts made up to 31 May 2018.

Yep, this is our toughest season yet regarding financial strictures and I think we have been fortunate that the football has been so attractive to watch compared to what we have had a lot of in previous seasons. It is becoming ever more crucial for people to turn up at games and fill the ground or, without a new multi purpose stadium, we will slowly sink under the burden of selling our best players each year just to avoid FFP sanctions. What a sorry state football has descended into .

Should be a trust in place to protect clubs who are being run sown down to poor ownership. All the money in the game could used in a way where people do not lose a local club due to not having the money to satave off winding up.

I am sure the clubs would be more than happy in the majority of cases but the EFL have clearly demonstrated, in Bury's case, that they don't want clubs to be saved by other clubs. The cunts at the EFL want stringing up.

Couldn’t give a shit about over 100 years of a club being the heartbeat of a community and what it means to people. It’s all about the pound note, the efl are a disgrace
