From what I can work out this is our best points tally after 33 games since we got relegated from the Premier league. Not bad when you consider huge squad change, less money to spend than in any other season, lots of game time for young qpr players (Eze, Ball, Chair, BoS) and I would say we’re playing best football and much more exciting to watch.

I think its always hard to compare directly because the quality of other squads also vary year by year. For instance I think the overall division quality in the last two season was probably a bit higher than this term.
There's a feeling that with a little bit more organisation, suss and (dare I say) determination we could be say 10 pts up vs now. But its progress vs the awful shite served up under Ollie.

I’ve seen this written and said a lot about the division standard dropping. But wouldn’t that mean the premier league is better than a few years back? Not sure you can say that. Or are we saying football in general across top 2 leagues is worse? Agree that we could be 10 points better off though.....but that’s also a positive! Last few seasons but especially under Holloway, I thought we had higher points tally than performances deserved.

I feel so much better about things after yesterday's result. Well clear of relegation and scoring goals again.
Hopefully the goals will flow again now and we can end off the season reasonably well.

I still think there will be ups and downs before May is upon us and, as such, it is just the nature of the beast. As mentioned above, careful restraint from hyperbole on both the good days and bad days wouldn't be a bad thing. Maybe the next time Barbet gives a penalty away you temper your criticism with a memory of the pass to set up BOS for our third yesterday. None of the team play badly just to piss us off.

Not necessarily, because prem squads not involved in relegation / promotion also vary year by year. It's like the gee gees, a Derby winner is a Derby winner, but most people - including the form book - will tell you some Derby winners were better than others.
