Written off already 🙄 Classic. I don’t think anyone should be written off until given a chance but if you look at this deal on paper it’s quite a odd one. We don’t have lots of money and 2M is quite a lot for us and we are investing it into a striker who is hardly prolific on a pub standard league. I would argue the Washington signing made more sense at the time than this one . Hopefully he’ll prove to be a shrewd bit of business as o believe several Champ clubs were on for him albeit the only one we seem to ha e really beaten to his signature is Barnsley! I personally hope we are bringing Hugil back as well!! Atleast he is proven at this level and averaged 1 goal in every 3 games! |

i asked my scottish brother in law about him and he said dykes is quite a good player that rangers were after. thing is he's in a proper shit team in livingston and isn't getting the service nor does he have the players round him to properly showcase himself.
no point writing him off yet, i think he'll be good for us

My goodness, and they say Im a miserable git. Just give the guy a chance. I’ve seen and read some things that suggest we may have made a very shrewd signing. Give the guy a chance for goodness sake. Plenty of Boro fans are sure that with Hall they made a shit signing because some of our fans say so. But I know some of our other fans really rate Hall, it’s all a matter of opinions.

Tbf to the lad,he had quite a few assists and not a bad goal per game ratio last season. He's been scouted by the club so he must be the kind of signing MW is looking for. Hopefully he signs for us and does well.

To be honest as much as les is an evil prick who doesn’t want anything good to happen to qpr and just wants to fleece us for every penny he can get and run us into the ground I’d bet my life on him being able to spot the ability of a striker over anyone posting on a fucking message board. I really didn’t know we had so many expert scouts posting on here!! We should be sending reports into the club seeing as we know better than people who’ve represented their country and had hugely successful careers at the highest level 😂😂😂. While at QOS appears to mainly have been used as a target man with Stephen Dobbie being the tap in merchant. Who incidentally had his best goal scoring rate in his long career while used alongside him.
He might have been brought in to allow things to drop off him to feed those around him.

I hope the majority of you who seem to think this is a good deal are correct as no one wants to sign a dud!
From the stuff I’m seeing on Twitter the Livingston fans yes say he is a fairly good player for their Tim pot team but can not believe someone is willing to pay 2m for him.
Hopefully this is another Dom Ball type of signing, I personally would of just preferred to see us go for a player more use to this level or certainly one of league 1’s top strikers.
We are signing a bloke whose score something like 29 goals in 120 odd games in the equivalent of the conference!!
